This traditional Swiss style chalet offers approximately 2,800 square feet of living space across three levels and is designed for large families and groups. The property is located within one kilometer of Blue Mountain and a 15 minute walk to the Village with shops, restaurants, and activities year round.

The top floor features an open concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining area for group meals, and a bright living room with floor to ceiling windows. Step out from the living area onto the second floor deck and enjoy fresh mountain air.

The main level includes four bedrooms, two with double beds and two with two single beds. This level also features two full bathrooms with tubs and showers, along with a natural wood sauna.

The lower level includes five additional bedrooms. One bedroom includes one queen bed and one double bed. Three bedrooms each feature a double size bunk bed. One bedroom includes a twin size bunk bed. This layout allows large groups to spread out comfortably.

The property sleeps a maximum of 20 guests.

Summer blue mountain trip

Great location walking distance to blue mountain resort. Room in the backyard for activities. Rooms a bit small and only 2 bathrooms which is not ideal when you have a large group.

Cozy, clean and comfortable!

What a wonderful stay we had this past weekend, the rental was very clean, comfortable and had such a cozy atmosphere. The check in process was very smooth and easy. The beds were comfortable and the bunk beds were quite large. The full kitchen and availability of utensils, pots, pans and dinner ware was an added bonus while feeding a group of 14. Very close to the village and all amenities. Overall, 10/10 would definitely stay here again!

NEW YEARS/BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH FRIENDS

I reserved this chalet for new years ever as well as to celebrate my boyfriend’s 30th birthday with 20 of our closest friends. The accommodations did not disappoint and our group had an awesome time ringing in the new year while celebrating a new decade. The chalet was clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. The numerous bedrooms was particularly appealing when I was I initially booking due to having such a large group comprised mostly of couples. Location is ideal as it’s super close to downtown collingwood and the village. The overall set up was perfect for a surprise party and we enjoyed the added luxury of having deck and the overall winter chalet feel. It’s worth noting you must bring your own sheets, bedding and towels or can request they be provided at an additional cost. Communication with the host was good and overall our stay was fantastic. I would book again!

Had Some Issues, Host Was Quick To Respond

We had some qualms with our visit, however the host was fast to reply and resolve our issues. Rogers had a service issue and there was no stable WiFi for the entirety of the weekend stay. The host was able to remedy this by providing access to the neighbouring unit's WiFi. The host also compensated us for the problems we experienced. The chalet was as advertised on the website. The bedrooms were much smaller in-person however. Both bathrooms looked newly renovated and were a nice contrast to the bedrooms. The kitchen and living room was spacious enough for all 17 guests that were staying and was a nice common room. Overall, it wasn't perfect, but the host made up for it in the end. I may consider staying again.

Incredible Experience! Highly recommended for families

I typically don’t write reviews, but in this case, I understand the importance when it comes to making a decision not only on where you spend your money, but seeking comfort safety for your family.Also, that I have to say that Dan was an incredible host from the beginning. He communicated with me efficiently from the time I booked to check out. In addition to answering my questions, he provided all the information needed for not only our stay, but blue Mountain experience. It was a smooth process from the booking to checking in to checking out.The home exceeded our expectations, incredibly beautiful, comfortable, clean the cosy chalet experience we wanted for our family trip.Our group consisted of adults and young children. The amenities were perfect and comfortable for us all. The neighbourhood was safe and approximately a five minute drive from blue Mountain Village. I have nothing negative to say!Thank you Dan for this great experience. Thank you for your patience and guidance and most of all your hospitality. I look forward to staying at here again soon.

Great space.....read the fine print

First, it's shameful and disgraceful that for the cost of this place the sheets and towels are not included. There is an additional charge per bed for these. That is my biggest negative. We all arrived from the states and expected at least the basics. Be sure to read every hidden detail before signing a contract (which has nothing about sheets and towels on it). The dishwasher was not attached to the cabinet and kept falling out. The large table is completely sticky. Everything sticks to it. It needs to be refinished. In the winter I imagine the direct sunlight is wonderful but in the summer there is no shade. No blinds that can be closed to block it out therefore it was extremely hot in the afternoons and early evenings. The bathroom door would not stay closed. And the hall lights could not be turned off. I'm told that's a fire code. The positives.......it's a great great space to gather together. The owner did arrange for the sheets and linens on short notice. The two places are connected via the deck which was great. We had plenty of space to spread out and host a huge family reunion. The area is easy access to downtown and the mountain activities. Once we got our linens it was a great experience.

I do apologize that this tenant was not aware that linens and towels are not included. It is very common in the Blue Mountain area and is mentioned all over the properties advertising. From having to acknowledge that linens are not supplied, on VRBO before you book in a house rule to in the body of many different emails sent to the tenant as well as in the welcome booklet sent out in many emails. I do appreciate the feedback and will be added an automatic text and email to go out to tenants when they book, in hopes that this additional measure will stop any more of these types of situations from coming up.

Mature couples getaway

There were 5 couples who went away for the weekend to celebrate a 50th and 65th birthday. The place was clean and functional. The dishwasher is not properly secured to the cabinet, which could be dangerous. There was a missing toilet roll holder. A few more towel racks would be nice. Generally accustomed to the kitchen having a couple of tea towels and dish clothes. This unit does not so bring your own. The huge dining table is finished with a sticky “varnish”. Bring something to cover it. It’s needs a good sanding and a proper varnish. Lots of beds to choose from. We originally were going to gave 7 couples, but because of Covid we lost 2 couples. Lots of extra beds and space.

My party and I had a great time at this chalet! To start, the amount of rooms was great so that everyone could have privacy when they needed. The top floor of the chalet was amazing for everyone to hang out in with the living room, dining room, and kitchen all integrated in one large room bright room with great cottage views so no one ever missed a moment. The chalet's close proximity to Blue Mountain and the Village was a major plus as half of my group was skiing and the other half just wanted to enjoy some of the non-skiing activities the area has to offer. Additionally, the property manager Dan was always quick to respond with any questions and concerns in a prompt and professional matter.

Excellent Location

The pro's amazing location, easy to find, very close to the mountain, about a 20 minute walk, there was a shuttle that ended up going by and we flagged him down paid him 50 bux for 14 of us, that was pickup and drop off. The living room upstairs is the best part of the place, very spacious and comforting, the kitchen had everything needed but bring tee towels if going to do dishes. The kitchen table was so sticky and kinda gross due to the finish on the wood I believe, so we covered it up with a bedsheet whole time we were there as we spent alot of time there playing cards. The host was excellent to deal with always very quick to get back to me beforehand with any questions, we had no need to bother him while there. Security did stop by very early the Friday night like 630 warning us to keep it down which I thought was odd, our neighbours didn't hear us and we were quite rowdy I must say but we had the window open at one point and I guess that's where the noisiness came from. The cons, this place could use some work, from toilet paper holders not on the wall, to seeing dry wall spots and dings all over the place, the beds were comfy and plentiful however the rooms so small often the two single bed rooms you may as well hold hands while in them, maybe a cm between the two beds, only in there to sleep so didn't much matter I guess. The two bathrooms are on the middle floor with the four bedrooms and are side by side which we found odd. Downstairs in the lower level are 5 other bedrooms and its very dank and dark down there with no bathroom period. All in all would I go there again probably not, but I wouldn't tell anyone NOT to either. If your going down to Collingwood and don't care too much what your rooms look like this is the place for you, doesn't look like much from the outside or fancy inside but did the trick for what we needed.

This is a party house in blue mountain. Everything was adequate except the accuracy of the listing (it's 16 and not 18 beds) and the knowledge of the property manager.

Good area, huge space for people to hang out. The house has a weird muck to it , but nothing crazy. Some house definitely needs improvement, but nothing that affects your stay to much.

good location

great locations. just few minutes away from Blue mountain village plus many beaches close by. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out in common area. Wish there were more cookwares available esp for big groups. but in all it was a good stay.
