Relax by the pool and on the pontoon in the Mooloolah River. Jump in a kayak and paddle the waterways. Throw in a line and put your catch on the BBQ.
Launch your boat or jet ski at one of the local launching ramps. Trailer parking can be arranged. Tie up at the pontoon and simply enjoy!

Our newly renovated waterfront house has a boho feel, a relaxing swing chair, a private pool, and its own pontoon. It's absolutely gorgeous, for a home away from home holiday.

Great short break for Christmas

Stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas as a test for our family. Great sized house with everything you need for a stay with a group (including heaps of plates and cutlery- always a problem when there is more than 4 people). The pool is fantastic; located just off the outdoor area. This was great at Christmas when some little people came to visit- they could swim supervised. Fully fenced, our fur baby had a great time as well. The only negative was the weather was a bit iffy but that cannot be controlled. Some bitey things also got us on the last day so beware the bities. Close enough to be beach but quiet and away from the crazy crowds. We’ll be back. Thanks Alison

Beautiful views of pool and canal, 10 minute walk into town which suited us and could fish morning and night off pontoon. House a bit musty and could do wit a freshen up but overall had a fantastic stay. Great pool also

We loved our short stay, the property needs a lot of TLC. We found it hard with no fly screens on the main entry doors front and back with sand flies. The gates for the pets not all that great, would have been better to have a gate opposite the grassed area. Prices are way to high for what is included, no Foxtel or WIFI and the added cost for linen and pets bumps it up. I have stayed in other pet places up the coast who don't charge for pets. The team at Salt were very helpful as you have to deal with them direct although a massive amount of terms and conditions.

Thank you for your honest feedback - we appreciate it and rejoice that you loved your stay here. We understand that sandflies and mosquitos are a naturally occurring inconvenience, at certain times of the year. We have large bi-fold doors that open up to the deck area, these are unable to have fly screens. As the house is fully air-conditioned with everything closed at night, this can help with the insects. Regarding the gates: We have many people stay with pets and have never had a complaint about the fencing. As the property is securely fenced. There is a side gate, we apologise if you haven't seen this gate and that we didn't show you. We try our best to keep terms and conditions as clear, simple and fair as possible for everyone, e.g. we inform our guests at the time of booking about the possibility to bring their own linen to avoid extra costs. The extra charge for dogs ($30 per stay) covers the additional cleaning that is necessary, as not all of our guests bring pets. Once again, thank you for your feedback and we look forward to seeing you again at Saltwater Villas.

Found the staff at Stayz excellent to deal with and prompt with return emails they were very helpful.We found the place to be clean, tidy a little more isolated than we thought but still a lovely weekend had by all. The local hotel which we went to get coffees on the morning we left where terrible very rude and we left without having the coffees so that was disappointing.
