Access instructions and Stayz requirements were clear and easy to follow. Nice and quiet location, only a short walk away from the beach and cafe. Entertainment selection was very wide, interesting and more relevant/well-known than your usual short-term accommodation.
Great communication from host. Everything as described. Wish I had remembered to pack a few tea bags for a cozy cuppa after our cold attempt to see whales from the scenic lighthouse.
Had a great weekend away, although the weather wasn’t too ideal for fishing. Our host was very good and helped us out on a couple of occasions when required. House was good and will definitely go back again.
The house is in a good position near the beach and has plenty of space but only one bathroom and having to bring your own linen was a pain. The house also has a TERRIBLE smell. Not sure if it was just the smell of old carpet but the whole house stinks.

Horrible
Very disappointed with this property. We didn’t stay the second night. Old unkept stains in kitchen cupboard. Ants. Never been so disappointed. sleeps 9 but only one toilet bathroom. Needs to be updated.

Sorry the house did not live up to your expectations, Janet. We only advertise it as basic with no 'mod cons'. After all, with 9 people its less that $30 ppn. Yes its an older 80s style house with discolouration in some cupboards and ants can get in but I think its unfair to call it horrible. Information was sent to you about the bathroom on 26-8-2018, 2 months before your stay. You must not have read it. I agree 9 people would be a squeeze but I note you only booked for 5 .... otherwise I would have brought it to your attention 'up front' in an email as its only advertised for max 8. I am happy to refund your second night less the cleaning. Let me know if this is the case. I hope you find more appropriate accommodation next time. Arthur
Check in was easy, the location is stunning and the house was very clean and homely. I went for work but would come back for pleasure. Easy walk to the bowlo is an added benefit.
This was a wonderful house for our extended family to stay in for the weekend. We had a wonderful time and there are a range of toys there that our little ones loves playing with, along with space in the rooms if a port-a-cot is needed. We had a fantastic stay at the property and would recommend to all. A quick walk to the beach which was great in the hot sunny weather.
Arthur’s place is perfect and he’s an awesome host . We stayed with 4 adults and 4 children and Arthur’s house accommodated us with ease . Could not fault his property it feels so homely and is only a very short stroll to the beach . He is a pleasure to deal with and super responsive with his communication. We would love to return again in the future.
Thanks again mate
The house was comfy and close to the beach. There was a lot of room to spread out and we enjoyed listening to the birds in the trees overhead. The shower was lovely and hot. The owners were very easy to communicate with.
a very nice, comfortable, warm and spacious house; the house had everything necessary for a quiet stay. The attention of the owners for any request was very friendly and fast. one hundred percent recommended ... I will be back... thanks!!!
Our stay at Arthur's property was really great. The house had all the comfort and amenities needed for a group of 6 people. We really enjoyed our weekend there, as well as being 100m away from the nearest beach. I will highly recommend.
