A great location to local beaches. Plenty of wildlife in the neighbourhood. Updated kitchen and bath were a nice touch. Only were able to stay for one night but would have happily stayed longer.
This place feels a bit like a family home instead of a holiday house. It's cosy and has everything you need for a coastal stay with your pet family. The yard is large and well fenced and inside there's plenty of room. The kitchen is stocked well with all the things you need to cater for meals and the fridge is huge. The house is located in a quiet street and very central to Sanctuary Point, Vincentia and Huskisson. Everything feels 10-15 minutes away. Huge Woolworths 5 minutes drive. You do need a car to enjoy this spot.
We stayed with our 3 children and our dog. The property was well maintained and clean. The backyard was a good size and secure for our labrador. Location wise, it's around a 10 minute drive from Huskisson which has some nice cafes and restaurants, along with whale and dolphin watching tours.
The property manager is lovely and very responsive -and she allowed us an extra adult for 2 nights no extra cost.
The house is clean and comfortable and kitchen reasonably well equiped. Only one bedroom has a fan - really need at least pedestal fans in the other two bedrooms. No towels provided (and this is not clear on the website - luckily I asked prior to going).
Main issue is noise (loud music and workshop in back garden next door) ALL day for a couple of the days (until 9 PM one night)
The cottage is larger than expected, very comfortable and the host was very accommodating when the power went out on the street! Walking distance to the IGA, and the wetlands around the corner led to a lovely birdwatching spot.
The house was very close to surrounding areas which was great.Enough room for the family to play the board games provided inside and to run around and kick a ball outside.Well worth a visit and we would return anytime.
Stayed one night as a stop over on family road trip. House was perfect for us. Good size, clean and in great location. We arrived in the dark but all ok. Only hassle was very little toilet paper but we found some when the kids were playing hide and seek!
Jervis Bay is a beautiful area, but the where we stayed was not the most enjoyable
I don't want to give anyone a nasty review, but we are going through tough economic times and we understand the owners are hard working people trying to get ahead. However, it must be said that the following can be improved at the house since we didn't quite enjoy our stay:
Monday 15/1/2024 was my wife's birthday and she had to vacuum the bedroom with the carpet in it. Behind the bed and bedside tables the dust was caked on the skirting and it was grey. The lamps did not work, but the shade covers on the lamps were also grey. I was wanting to use the Dyson vacuum, but it too was caked with dust to work. First I had to clean the Dyson that was disgustingly dirty. I did not take photographs because I did not want to work myself up or offend anyone. After all, our stay was only for 1 week. Two baskets in the laundry were filled with dirty sheets and the room smelt like it had not been aerated. The mop is not compatible with the bucket - not going to queeze mop with my hands. The rubbish bins were so full that I had to contact Council to find out when rubbish pick up was. The cuboards are full of linen and we couldn't put our clothes into them. The cupboards also had a musty smell. The 2 single beds are very unstable make creaking sounds. We arrived when it was raining and under the carport was gushing down so I had to park the car away from it so I didn't have shower. The driveway was inaccessible by foot because of the huge puddles. Happy to raise more points if interested.
Great, spacious accommodation which has everything you need for a short break. House in very good condition. We - and our red heeler - loved the good-sized, fully fenced backyard. Couple of minutes drive to an IGA. Paradise Beach around St Georges Basin 5 minutes away. Beautiful Huskisson beach and Nelson's Beach with off-leash area (between 4 pm and 8 am) less than 10 mins away.

Wouldn't stay again
Overall cleanliness good however the house and gardens are not well maintained. Lawns/gardens need a good clean up. Baskets of dirty washing in the laundry. Fleas on the single beds. Cobwebs on some windows inside. Some bed linen not clean/marked. Shame as if these things were rectified it would have been a more pleasant stay
This house and location worked well for our group of friends competing in running and triathlon events in Husky over the weekend. The house is quite spacious with good size bedrooms, bathroom and well equipped kitchen.
Overall it provided what we needed.
