We really enjoyed our stay in this small quaint cottage. It’s very close to the beach and the hosts were wonderful. Responding to any small issue that we had. We would highly recommend this place. While it is an old cottage, it has all the amenities required if you just two people. We were also able to accommodate our dog with no problems. The 4 PM checkout was brilliant because we were able to go to the beach in the morning.
There was everything we needed and it was a great location to walk to the beach and a pub:)
There is a nice backyard to relax and the sunset from the kitchen was stunning!
Very comfortable place to stay for the humans in our party - good bed, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower. And for our four legged member a lovely safe garden. The new development of shops is very pleasant, the pub is great, as is the general store/cafe. Close to lots of great strolls/serious walks.
Wonderful place to stay. The beach is excellent if you have your dog with you. Kilcunda is away from the busy town and very relaxing. The Home has everything you need for a family or couple. Would stay again.
Kilcunda Cottage was perfect for a few days away just me and my dog. The cottage is very dog friendly with a big secure yard. The property is well stocked with everything needed. It is very small inside though so not much room to sit if you have visitors and want to watch a movie at night or something
the cottage is very well located in a walking distance from the beach and the rail trail path. we stayed during hot weather, and the cottage had not been opened and ventilated beforehand so felt very stuffy. It would be good to aerate the place more often. Otherwise its nice and comfortable.
Lovely little holiday house just a short walk to the beach
Front and back decks mean you can always find a spot out of the weather
Super secure safe little back yard, perfect for dogs or children, I would say it is escape proof
The house is nice and relaxed, exactly what I like in a Holiday rental. Really good sleep quality due to total block out curtains which also help to keep the cottage nice and warm, very cold weather while I've been here
Overall it has everything a family would need for a comfortable beach holiday
Very happy with my choice

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
My sons 21st
Was not happy with the internet not working as my son is autistic and just wanting to talk to his friends online. The house looked cleaned, but opened the microwave it was filthy. There was food in the cupboard that was from 2017. There was no room in the master bedroom for clothes the owner has filled it with junk. The smaller room had a clothes horse that was full of tea towels ect… so you couldn’t even go in that room unless taking the horse down. Beautiful location, just not happy with cleanliness of house.

Hello Rachael, thanks for your detailed feedback. Sorry but I couldn’t do anything with the internet modem during the holiday long weekend, it has since been replaced with a new one.
The other points we will take on-board.
We will do a stocktake of the pantry and remove any out dated food items, that guests have left. We will also try & free up more wardrobe space in the bedrooms.
Obviously the previous guests washed the tea towels, (we don’t ask guests to do that, they obviously wanted to do the right thing) not sure why it would. be such an issue to fold them and pack up the clothes horse, so you could use the room.
Best regards Peter
Great layout, comfy bed, great hot water, easy to heat, walking distance from a great pub. Lots of lovely walks near by. Love lying in bed listening to a) rain on the roof and or b) the surf. Super safe back yard for our dog.
