About this property

The Nautical Mile Beach House

Location:

Phillip Island accommodation -a cosy, family and pet friendly 3 bedroom beach house located within walking distance from off-leash beach (500m) and Cowes town centre (1 km). It's just around the corner from a general store (2 min walk) as well as a short 2 min drive from a boat ramp and small café. The Ventnor dog off leash beach is just a 5 min drive away too (off leash times vary through the year).

Phillip Island's Grand prix track, Penguin Parade, Koala centre, golf course as well as other attractions are only a short drive away. The perfect base to explore Phillip Island!

House features:

The house comprises of 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet, open space living room, kitchen, laundry, garage as well as a spacious yard. 7 guests maximum.

Bedroom 1 - Double bed
Bedroom 2 - Kids' retreat - (queen bed with single trundle upon request), TV with built in DVD as well as plenty of toys and games to keep the kids occupied when not on the beach.
Bedroom 3 - Queen bed
Living room - Two three seater couches, split system heating/cooling plus wall heater in corridor. Each bedroom also has a panel heater and pedestal fan for the warmer months.
Bathroom - shower and bath
Kitchen - fully equipped. Tea towels provided.
Laundry - washing machine, dryer (in the garage), iron and ironing board. Please bring your own washing powder.

Bedding and towels provided include: light doonas and covers, pillows and covers as well as sheets and bath towels, hand towels and bath mat. Please bring your own cot bedding if using the baby cot. Beach Towels not provided.

The yard is spacious and fully fenced, making it safe for both kids and pets. It contains a swing set, cubby house and sand pit for kids to get creative in, while the adults supervise and retreat on the undercover deck or prepare the bbq. There is a dog bed and bowls provided too, should you choose to bring your pooch (by prior arrangement).

There is also a single, lock up garage and carport, perfect for storing a car, bike or boat. If no need for storage, it can easily be turned into a games area with a ping pong table, fooseball table and dart board provided.

Perfect place for kids, had a great variety of kids toys, movies and games available for use. Loved the property was fully secure and had outdoor space for kids too. Bedrooms being seperate also helped make it easier getting kids to sleep at one end of the house. Would definitely stay here again

The house is lovely and the few small issues we had our Host was very willing to fix and very pleased we pointed them out.The beach is a good walk or 2 minute drive and is dog friendly. A must for me.The yard is fenced another plus.Good beds and heating as we went in winter.I'll definitely book again.

We stayed here for just one night with our kids and dog, and it was absolutely perfect! If we had the time we couldve easily stayed there longer! Kasia was so great to deal with and can now see why its got its high reviews!The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming for the whole family—furry members included. The kids had space to play, and our dog was just as relaxed as we were. Highly recommend for families and pet owners. We now have a go to place in cowes!

When we arrived, we had a good vibe from the place. It had everything. Kids liked the toys and backyard. But when we went to sleep, we noticed that the kids bedroom’s blanket smelt of vomit although it had air freshener sprayed over it trying to cover it. It was too late to notify the owner and we are only staying one night. So we had to use what we have to get through the cold night. The owner did apologise for this. Hope they wash the blanket for the next guests. Also just a note that there’s a broken tree branch above the outdoor swings. Hope the owner gets that removed soon otherwise it will be unsafe for the future guests.

I had a wonderful stay with Lucy (did) Communication with the host Kasia exceeded 5 stars.

The property was just delightful, everything provided for a cosy, comfortable stay during Vic winter, including a bed and pet bowls for my Kelpie. She loved the “trampoline” bed. The property was exceptionally clean and presented as a charming beach cottage. The yard is fully fenced and 100% secure for my dog. Also all the yard is grassed both front and back giving her lots of sniffing experiences. Just a few minutes walk to everything that gorgeous Cowes has to offer , . including Cowes jetty and beach there. The communication from host Kasia was outstanding, Thankyou Kasia such a pleasure to have that happen when booking accomodation . I thoroughly recommend all aspects of what I experienced during my stay at Nautical Beach House , Cowes. AND I WILL BE BACK !!!! Providing there is availability .

Fully enclosed yard for the dogs and walking distance the a dog beach.. only a couple minutes drive into town.. Kasia is lovely to deal with and house was great will definitely stay again :)
