No AC in unit for the week stay. Property host contacted, sent someone out, didn’t physically see someone check the AC unit, ac tech did what they did, said it worked, IT NEVER WORKED! Kids woke up in a pool of sweat every morning. Didn’t get below 76 in unit. Microwave stopped working, replaced microwave last day of stay & left us with a bunch of money/food wasted. Host (the male - Joe) terrible guy to talk too, completely immature for being an older guy, cussed us out & called us scammers for there poor unit. - cleanliness was terrible, food, sticky stuff on floors under bed, floor instantly turned feet black. Trash in cans with no bag all upon arrival. All told to host & completely dismissed. Thanks to vrbo we did get some what of a refund back. Tried to solve the issue with hosts and got screamed at and called scammers. Beware of property hosts. Only good thing was the view & somewhat comfy beds.

Just wanted a few days away from the every day grind. The condos at Wyndham Oceanwalk are so convenient. The condo had everything I needed for my stay.

Repeat ocean walk guests

We come every year. I was sad to see they closed the indoor hot tubs and the slide was down most of our stay but stuff happens. We love this property and we will be back. Cindy was great and allowed us to check in early and was very helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo. It was everything it was advertised to be.

From the time we checked in to the time we left our stay delivered everything that was promised. Check in was easy and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The Ocean Walk shops were very accessible and restaurants were good. An easy walk to them from the fourth floor. Parking was very convenient. We could walk to our vehicle in less than one minute. And we didn’t have to use the elevator or go outside to get to it. The condo itself was everything and more than we expected. Spacious and clean upon arrival. We will definitely make a return visit.

New Years Getaway

Complex has nice amenities, kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools, great beach access, and a very short walk to the Main St Pier. Unit has great WiFi for anyone looking to work remotely. Mattresses weren't great but we managed. Lone complaint was the air conditioning went out and we slept in uncomfortable heat (80+) for several nights. Unit manager sent several people to fix but was ultimately an entire complex issue.

The best view

We had an overall very nice time. The view is beautiful and the location is great. There were just a few inconveniences. The bathroom sink would not drain. (We didn’t have the time to hassle with someone coming to fix it while we were there.) We had to use the kitchen sink the whole time. Also, if you like to plug in your phone next to your bed, there is only one plug between the wall and the bed that you can use for your phone. There is no plug accessible by the other bed. But again, overall the room was clean and comfortable.

I am really sorry you had an issue with the bathroom sink draining, If you had told me it was a 5 minute procedure to unblock it and you would not have had to be in the condo or wait for anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Ocean Walk and loved the unit. Check in was easy and Cindy was very kind to allow us to check in a little early due to a very early arrival. Wonderful stay in 2021

We loved the property. The location was excellent, check-in was easy and the booking process was a breeze. The resort as a whole (not the unit) has declined over the last few years but they were doing some updates so hopefully that will fix the problem. The unit itself was clean and spacious. I read complaints about the discomfort of the beds but we had no problems at all. Thanks John!

Early 18th Birthday Celebration

The location was amazing, we could hear the concert and see the fireworks from the balcony. The place was really cute and had everything we needed but it could use some TLC. The cabinets are peeling, the tiles on the bathroom floor move, there is a cracked tile in the kitchen they are covering with a rug and the shower/bath could use some love. However, I gave it a 4 because it is very clean and it was everything we needed and wanted for a great weekend! Thank you and we would stay again.

Amazing location and family friendly

Only recommendations is for future visitors to leave the washer door slightly cracked to help and to wipe off the rubber part to help prevent the mold build up. Everything was amazing and very nicely set up. The wifi was fast, the view was amazing, and the resort was very nice including the heated pools, location, and access to the beach.

Daytona 500 vacation 2019

We truly enjoyed the unit. Only had that brief issue with the TV in the living room that was corrected by our 3rd day of our stay. Will certainly recommend and consider staying in this unit again on any future visits to Daytona area.

My family and I enjoyed the beachfront balcony and oceanfront view. The room was spacious and clean. The resort felt very safe and was constantly monitored with security. The pools weren’t as warm as we would have hoped for, but the beach was clean and well kept. Make sure and bring extra toilet paper, paper towel, and garbage bags. The resorts owners were very kind and quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again! We really had a great time.

The Good, the bad, and the "needs some attention".

The Wyndham property is awesome! 4 pools, Great snack bar, Parking garage, Clean, & good security. The Home Away rental however had some issues. First the "Good"- Clean, well stocked with everything you would expect. Nice 5th floor view, you don't feel removed from the ocean and pool area by being too high up. Now the "Not so Goods"- The hide a bed sofa (although we did not use it as a bed) was worn out and dirty. The floor tiles were cracked and had missing grout in spots. They were also hollow underneath, made us feel like any moment just walking on them would cause more cracks, the tv remote did not work it the bedroom and the Staff that was sent to swap/fix it spent nearly an hour trying to figure it out but to no avail, the tub surround was falling apart & the bathroom exhaust fan was loud. But not nearly as annoyingly loud as the A/C unit. Couldn't hear yourself think with it on. In fact had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off as it awoke us as it cycled on and off. Don't get me wrong, the condo was nice, but these issues need to be resolved. I took photos upon arrival of the things I noticed and sent them to the property manager, as there is no check list of the property condition and I didn't want to be charged for the issues/damage. Hopefully these items will be rectified, as I would like to return and this condo is in a great location for a really good price.

Thank you for the information, The A/C has been checked, it seems the core froze over from the balcony door being open and continually running. Balcony door must be closed when A/C is on. Once the core freezes it takes 12 to 18 hours of A?C being shut off to thaw. The bathroom exhaust fan has been replaced You did leave the condo in a very messy state, cleaning people sent pictures but I cannot load them.
