It was a short stay but it was wonderful everything was great. The only thing that was kinda off was the gardener coming over Saturday morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We shared your feedback with the homeowner, and they wanted to respond to a few of your concerns:- Their cleaning professional drove over an hour to return to the property, even after confirming that no pet hair was initially observed during the turnover.- She was there to address any concerns you may have had during your stay and used a lint roller throughout the home but was unable to locate any pet hair. She also took photos showing the mahogany floors were clean and shiny at the time of her visit.- Cleanliness is something that many recent guests have praised in their reviews, so your feedback is especially helpful as we continue working to meet high standards for every stay.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Excellent location

Great location for seeing San Diego. Very close to airport but also to the Zoo and easy to get to Mission Bay. Just a few blocks from the house takes you to the harbor and a nice trail. Neighborhood has restaurants and a only a short drive to a gourmet supermarket. House is comfortable and private but basic. There is a nice yard and deck and room for parking.

We loved the location of this property. The shower and bed were amazing. We did however agree with some of the other people after staying that maybe another fan of something is needed when it’s hotter. However it was a great place to watch the fireworks. We absolutely loved watching from the porch.

Great house, great location, plenty of parking. I would definitely stay at this house again; however, ceiling fans must first be installed in the rooms and more standing fans need to be provided. There weren't enough cross ventilation options or fans to keep us cool. It stayed 77 degrees in the house the whole weekend.

I would guess the photos of this property are extremely old. A better description on the property layout would’ve been helpful. The front door of the property is on one main street and the backyard of the property is on another main street. We had difficulty entering the property because the directions we received were incorrect. We had to call the provider to get proper entry. I would have to say our first overall impression was the owners are just here to make money and not necessarily a nice experience for the traveler. There are broken cabinets. A cleaning liquid was left on the counter. The toiletries seemed more of a mishmash of the owner’s previous vacations. The backyard grill was dirty and there was no brush to clean it if we wish to use it. The paint or stain on the back deck is half worn off and there’s nothing that draws you to want to sit out back and enjoy. There is a portable air conditioner in the living room. It vents out through one of the two sliding glass doors. If you wish to leave the air conditioner on you can’t lock the slider so the property is not secure. There is a split air conditioner in the bedroom closet, but there are no directions on how to use it. The windows are dirty, and there was a big handprint on the slider.On a good note, the property location is excellent. The walk ability to restaurants and down to the bay are awesome. For my friend traveling with me, the traffic noise was too much.

Great neighborhood good for our needs

Cottage is in a great neighborhood and was good for what we needed. We wanted to ve in that neighborhood and it was a short stay. Restaurants and bay in 2 blocks. We enjoyed the deck at night. Busy streets on both sides but still slept good. Bed was comfortable House overall was just ok. It really needs some tlc and a good cleaning. Yard could use some love too.
