This updated cottage is a perfect family get-a-way! Your group can gather in the family room, on the porch, in the large dining area or in the backyard by the firepit. There is a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed. A sleeping porch with a queen bed, middle room with a twin and trundle and a back bedroom with a full bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa if needed. This property is within the gates of Lakeside Chautauqua. Seasonal gate fees apply. Sheets are provided.

Great Lakeside Cottage

Cottage was clean and comfortable. Great location in Lakeside. We had a nice stay with family. Plenty of sleeping options and the front porch was nice to relax on. Thanks for a great trip to Lakeside!

Great time with family. House was very comfortable and on a wonderful street.Easy access to all the amenities. Appreciated the host provided sheets & towels & many more comforts. Beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the grill. Thank you for sharing this special place for a week of special memories.

Mother's Day Getaway

Beautiful and clean home that we thoroughly enjoyed for a quick Mother's Day weekend getaway. Communication with the host was smooth along with the checkin and checkout process. Convenient location and a short walk to downtown. We would stay again!

Wonderful stay!

We loved the cottage! Perfect for our family, super comfortable, the private patio out back was a great feature, and plenty of space to store our bikes. The cottage is well stocked with bedding, blankets, dishes, etc. we loved making lakeside memories there and hope to come back soon!

You've got to be kidding me!

Overall, this place was the worst rental we have stayed at through all of our years of renting with VRBO. Premier Host is not an accurate description, and I've never had to say that before. This is a rental that has drawers overflowing with art supplies, and a variety of things that were haphazardly thrown together.......leaving one bottom drawer in the bedroom chest for settling in. No hangers. No hooks. So we draped our clothes on top of the chest. Wallpaper in the bedroom that was peeling off and repapered helter-skelter. There were two bedroom windows which had the best coverage of the whole house - we could actually lower the woven blinds to cover the whole window. The rest of the house either had no coverings, or scant coverings which didn't allow for privacy at night; we kept the lights off most of the time. I could go on, but I won't....only to tell you two things: 1) Bring your own door lock, (On Tuesday we texted our host and told her the lock was not working, and she said she was sorry and would fix it when she came to town on Thursday)! and 2. Be prepared to do some housekeeping......especially in kitchen with sticky counters and dirty floor. I really don't like to write a review like this, but the other reviews I read before I decided to rent weren't true to our experience.

Great Time!

Apologies for the delay in this review. Our family stayed here back in August and were impressed with the cleanliness of the house as well as responsiveness of the host. This place is in a great location and close to everything. Made for a great experience in our first of many family Lakeside visits. We’ll look to booking again next summer!!

Blue cottage review

Beds were comfortable and we found what we needed. The back patio area was a great place to gather and we loved the big shower. Our only suggestion would be to make more room for guests’ clothing and food supplies. There was a lot of stuff already in the fridge and freezer and most dresser drawers were full of stuff. We couldn’t fully unpack. It felt more like we were uninvited guests than people who had paid a good price for lodging. Also the bed on the porch really shouldn’t be counted. We were glad we had not counted on using it.

Clean, cute house but no air conditioning

Cute little house. The major drawback for us is there is no air conditioning on the second floor where the three beds are located. The daytime outdoor temps were in the low 80’s and the upstairs was easily 90 degrees for our entire stay. It never cooled down at night and only a couple of the windows had screens and could be opened. The price is too high for what you get with this house. We had to put the sheets and pillowcases on the beds which was a pain and I’ve never seen that with any rental before.

Homey and Comfortable!

Sweet, pleasant cottage with comfortable beds, a complete kitchen well stocked with cook ware, and a beautiful porch and backyard. The place our extended family reconnects every summer :)

Clean and cute cottage!

We have been renting lakeside cottages my whole life and this was the cleanest and best maintained. We were comfortable right off the bat and so happy to be able to use the linens already on the beds. We also enjoyed the large “sauna shower”. Great sleeping arrangements for our family of five and the location is quiet. Wonderful Labor Day weekend.

Such a charming getaway

We all had an Amazing time!!! The cottage was extremely clean and very cozy and welcoming. I can’t say enough about Lisa as a hostess! Great location!

We stayed for a long weekend recently which wasn’t enough time! The cottage was a nice distance from the shops/lake and the pool. Beds were comfortable and plentiful. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling in the backyard. Really nice visit - would definitely stay here again!

Maharry-Go-Round 529 Maple

This is a great house in a nice area of Lakeside. Bedroom on the first floor across from a bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, just off the kitchen. Large dining room and great backyard with a Weber grill, very sturdy chairs and tall tables. Also a fire pit. Three bedrooms and a small half bath upstairs. Nice living room and front porch. Carport and parking in front of the unit. We used this house in 2019 and were very happy to be able to get it again this year. Well taken care of and comfortable for a family up to 8. One of the best houses we’ve ever rented at Lakeside.

Very nice cozy cottage

Great little updated Lakeside cottage. Comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen is equipped with just about everything. Very large accessible shower with heat lamp was so nice. Upstairs sleeping arrangements work nicely for a family. We would stay here again!

Great Lakeside Community Home!

This is a super cute lakeside community home that is a short walk from the lake. The home is well maintained with AC, kitchen supplies, good wifi, Netflix, and all the other amenities my family needed for a short stay. The host was very responsive to my questions. There is a gate free per car and adult into the lakeside community, but once inside, you have access to the lake, playgrounds, a shallow kid pool, a splash park, restaurants, shops, shuffleboard, minigolf, basketball courts, and live bands for evening entertainment, among other things. The home is also a short drive from the lighthouse and ferries to Kelly’s Island and South Bass Island in Put-In-Bay. My wife and young kids enjoyed it so much that they can’t wait to come back!
