Waves, Warmth and Winter – spoil yourself with some time tucked away in this waterfront home this chilly Winter and enjoy the delights of the Mornington Peninsula in style. Our comfortable much-loved family holiday home has given hours of pleasure to kids and adults alike – now it’s your turn to enjoy!
With the home recently undergoing a mini-makeover, with new furnishings and extra cleaning and updating to give it an extra sparkle and enhance the cosiness, it is perfectly located on Esplanade between Mt Martha & Safety Beach with water views from almost every room.
Situated on a quiet part of the Peninsula, away from the crowds, its just 5 minutes’ drive to shops and cafes at Safety Beach and Mount Martha and 15 minutes to Main Street, Mornington, brimming with stylish shopping and a host of bars and restaurants.
You won't want to leave this home, a large glass fronted deck stretches the width of the house with sliding glass doors allowing access from the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen and front master bedroom. Crank up the gas log heater, pour yourself a red and recline on the sofa to enjoy the latest Foxtel movies, while watching the sunsets and crashing waves below. Turn on the central heating to ensure an even heat throughout the home.
Take in the bay view sweeping from Portsea across to the You Yangs and down to the imposing Melbourne skyline.
The front bedrooms features a QS bed, TV/DVD and the best uninterrupted water view you are likely to find on the peninsula. The rear bedroom (1 x Queen Bed) is cosily carpeted and leads to a large elevated rumpus room with more beautiful water views. An additional bedroom accommodates another two guests with two single beds.
Please note; the home is split level with just three steps only to reach the main bathroom and a further three to access the back bedroom and rumpus room.
In the warmer months your wake up alarm is a speedboat cruising by and you can enjoy a swimming and playing for hours in the solar heated pool or sunning yourself on the deck. If cooking is your thing, the kitchen is well equipped and a long dining table seats six with ease.
Other delights of the area include Peninsula Hot Springs, the wineries and restaurants of Red Hill.
