Wool Bay is situated on the Eastern side of Yorke Peninsula, a comfortable 2 1/2 hrs drive from Adelaide (nestled between Stansbury & Edithburgh).

Out & About

The sandy bay features a permanently moored pontoon - popular with swimmers, sun shelters to enjoy lazy days on the beach, jetty, boat ramp and public toilets.
Snorkel, walk or fossick at low tide in the tidal pools around the coves.
Drop a line at the jetty for squid.
Have a hit of golf at the 9 hole course.
Cycle or walk the nearby coastal leisure trails.
Pack lunch and take a scenic drive. Allow plenty of time as there are many beautiful beaches, bays and scenery along the way.
Wattle Point Windfarm near Edithburgh is well worth a look.
Edithburgh tidal pool is great for toddlers.
Boaties and anglers are well catered for with jetties and boat ramps at nearby Stansbury & Edithburgh.
Browse and grab a bargain at the outdoor Stansbury Foreshore Markets (seasonal).
Dine out at one of the many cafes, hotels and takeaway outlets dotted around the peninsula.
The Western side of the peninsula can be reached in under half an hour.

Great house with everything that's needed

Great location, very quiet, close to beach, loved wool bay beach for finding beach treasures, house was well stocked with everything we could have needed, very practical, clean, and plenty of space for all. Would happily stay there again.

I really don't think we utilised the home away from home. We were out most of the time and came back for a snack and sleep. We are looking at our calendar now to plan another trip, however when we make up our minds we definitely will look for you.

Fantastic holiday home

House was exactly as described. Generous enough in size for a family. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture, kids loved the play equipment in the yard. Overall a fabulous holiday home.

Very impressed with the property, clean, modern and everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you bring kids there are games for them. If internet is your thing, its a bit hit & miss. Would definitely recommend & stay again

Return Visit

Another lovely stay in this spotlessly clean, bright roomy home. Everything that you would need is here in a very well equipped kitchen. Easy travelling into Minlaton for our Family History search. We will be back hopefully. Jo is a great host and communication was excellent.

was a lovely get away

it’s was peaceful relaxing and the weekend went way to fast. only challenge was i didn’t have phone coverage and there’s no wifi - and not all our children stayed with us.
