Absolute waterfront property with uninterupted views of Prosser Bay and Louisville Point. Situated on the reef between East & West Shelly Beaches just a 2 minute walk will have sand between your toes.
The house has 3 bedrooms, consisting of 1 Queen, 1 Double & 1 Set bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, open plan living area, rumpus room (with 8 ball table), outdoor entertaining area (with BBQ) and full kitchen facilities.
There is a picnic area on the waterfront with boat ramp access for dinghy or tender and fish cleaning facility.
Orford's cafes and services are located a leisurely 20 minute walk away on the walk/bike track from the front door.

The property is NOT pet friendly.


Orford Area

Orford features a golf course, The Thumbs Lookout, Convict Walking Trail, Spring Beach Surf Beach, Prosser River Fishing and the Gateway to Maria Island at Triabunna.
Boat ramp access for large craft is available at Prosser River, Barton Ave, East Shelly Beach & the Triabunna Marina. Endless pleasure boat and fishing opportunities in Prosser Bay, Spring Bay and Mercury Passage.

The property is in Orford and just 12 minutes from the ferry terminal for Maria Island in Triabunna. It overlooks the waterfront and the sound of the waves lapping on the rocks while enjoying the deck is great. The property is clean and well stocked and has everything you need for a great stay including a barbie!! It is in a VERY quiet location and we loved watching the echidna in the garden! Rod and Lyn are great hosts and very helpful. Definitely recommend this place and will stay again when we come back to Tassie.

The rooms are very small. The wardrobe door don't open fully. Appliances don't perform well it took us close to an hour to cook pizza and we were told by owner to try using the microwave instead! I thought it was a poor response.

House was cute and cozy. The heater worked well to heat the whole house. A bugbear of mine in a ususal house for hire is there are not enough towel rails. This house had plenty of towel rails with some to spare.

It was great to pop down to the waterfront for a dive, collect some shells and walk along the beach whenever we wanted to. The property was super clean, warm, comfortable and built for fun with the pool table.

Comfortable, clean and a gorgeous view.

This cute house was the perfect place to have Christmas. It was absolutely pristine and little personal touches in the decorating made it feel cosy. We enjoyed using the pool table and the view over the water was wonderful. Right next to the walking track it was very convenient: just a quick drive or bike ride to the shops and Spring beach or a walk to Shelley beach and foreshore. The location was quiet and peaceful. All the ingredients for a perfect Christmas holiday. The Christmas tree was a thoughtful touch.
