Travelled from scotland, location was excellent with great bus routes into sydney. Appartment was clean and tidy with only a 2 minute walk to the beach and local shops and restaurants.
I stayed here for several weeks and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is perfect and the location could not be any better - in five minutes you can be on the beach, at a restaurant or store, or at the bus stop on your way to the other suburbs or to the light rail that will take you into Sydney. All amenities were as expected and the host was responsive and courteous. If I travel to Coogee in the future I will try to stay here again!
Convenient location by pool. Beautiful unit with many updates including the master bathroom. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Excellent host who is very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this unit!
Great spot to stay! Across the road from the beach and very close to all the Coogee shops and cafes. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Jeremy the property manager was very prompt. Highly recommend.
Loved being so close to the beach, eateries, sea baths and other conveniences. It's a really great spot to stay. The apartment is classic Coogee and eastern suburbs Sydney. It's compact but well laid out and certainly as described on the website. This stay suited us perfectly as we were seeking to be out and about all day and just head back for sleeping. Lovely weekend in beautiful Coogee.
Our Stay at Coogee was excellent; perfectly located close to Coogee Beach, and all amenities were close by. Close and easy to get to and from the airport. Jeremy was available upon arrival via phone call to aid in securing entry (a number of lock boxes in the area and was difficult to figure out which one was for the apartment but Jeremy answered his phone on first call and aided us - he was very pleasant to talk with). Apartment has everything you need for a short term and longer term visit. It was absolutely perfect for us and would recommend to everyone. On another note - the regular tennants of the apartment were very friendly and happy to have vacation renters around (not always the case in other areas) which made you feel even more welcome there. Thanks for being a great host Jeremy and providing us with such an excellent place.
Overall we had a great weekend! From the ease of collecting the keys , communication with Jeremy, location and Property layout, we will definitely consider this again the next time we are in the area
Thanks Jeremy and team

Hot Box
Look - I have stayed in worse places. But for the cost for this tired, non airconditioned tinderbox probably takes the cake.
Lets get the positives out of the way - it's close to the beach. It was neat and tidy.
The things to improve on:-
- install airconditioning. Whilst not so important in Iceland, it is important in Australia.
- no fly screens. Again possibly not important in Iceland, but again important in Australia
- let us open a window!! It is stifling
- the lounge room furniture. One vinyl three seater couch - (lovely in 35 degree heat) and one "lounge chair". Buy some decent furniture!
- the beds - buy some decent beds
So overall disappointing. Don't expect a view of the beach. Don't expect to be comfortable, do expect a hefty charge.

Thanks Gary
Your feedback is appreciated: it is noted and I will use it to further improve guest experiences.
I appreciate that you have endeavoured to be both fair and objective citing the positives and current limitations of this beachside apartment.
Yes, location is close to unbeatable (good water views from balcony and literally over the road from Coogee Beach), secure basement parking, access to beach, cafes and amenities are all qualities we know are important to people. And yes, I agree that our professional cleaners do a great job making sure things are sparkling clean and ready for new arrivals.
We have just secured the services of an interior designer who has already started working with us to lift it to something chic and boutique. I am really excited seeing what is in the pipeline and already evolving.
NSW law compels us to have window opening restrictors for the safety of young children and whilst air-conditioning would be desirable we do find guests have been almost entirely satisfied with this elevated position and sea-breezes supported by pedestal fans in each space.
I do think the extraordinary weather conditions and bushfire situation we've been enduring during your time here has made things very challenging and perhaps impacted on your experience.
Sincerely
Jeremy
This apartment is very close to the beach with angled views of the water. The apartment has two good sized double rooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay and think the apartment was good value. Given the location it can be a bit noisy at times, as people enjoy their holidays.
This was my first experience using stayz and as such staying at the Coogee Beachside.
The whole experience was great, the property is fantastic and in an awesome location. Check in was made extremely easy due to excellent information and directions supplied by the property manager.

Very happy with our stay. 1mins walk to beach, Main Street with loads of places to eat and drink plus Woolworths a 3min walk away out the back gate.
And having a car park around this area is gold. We never saw a free car park as we were walking around so a car park that was included with this stay was great. Loved it and look forward to heading back one day. Jeremy & Oliver are very friendly and helpful also, great owners to deal with.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit was pleasant and comfortable, however the building is a little tired and in need of some maintenance. Some of the kitchen cutlery etc needs an update also.

Thanks for your kind words and constructive feedback Billie.
I agree that the building facade could do with some refreshing. Being so close to the ocean it is subject to salt and other ocean impact - I will raise this matter at our next annual general meeting and suggest we schedule some external painting.
Kitchen cutlery feedback also noted and I'll check on this personally.
Sincerely
Jeremy
