Villa Riviera on the Richmond Ballina River
Before you read on, check out our guest's review......
"This is a brilliant apartment. It is ideally located on the Richmond River and is a short walk to the center of Ballina. The fittings and furnishings are all of the highest order with the beds being exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen appliances are all of high quality as is the crockery and glassware. We could not fault Villa Riviera in any way. The photos are a true reflection of the apartment which is often not the case. Do yourself a favor and book a week here!!"
Villa Riviera is a stunning, spacious split level river side apartment. Renovated and fully furnished in a comfortable contemporary style. Situated right on the beautiful Richmond River, it provides you with your own backyard beach. Watch the leisure craft, trawlers and nature pass you by from the outdoor dining area or upstairs parents retreat.
The galley kitchen is equipped with modern facilities including dishwasher and is open to the lounge/dining and balcony areas for easy entertaining. Stretch out on the expansive lounge suite and enjoy a movie on the large wall mounted flat screen TV with DVD. Dine inside or out, on either of the two comfortable dining suites - the choice is yours and if the river breeze isn't enough to cool you down reverse cycle air-conditioning is an option inside.
A second downstairs bathroom and a separate laundry comprising both washing machine and dryer are also provided.
The generous main bedroom features a luxurious king sized bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, reverse cycle air-conditioning and an over-sized window which stretch across the length of the entire room overlooking the Richmond River. A private lounge setting is also nestled next to the for a quiet cup of tea and a good book!
The roomy second bedroom is equipped with both a double and single bed with plenty of space to spare. Another large, flat screen TV is also wall mounted for the kids/another couple to enjoy also with reverse cycle air-conditioning.
All windows in the apartment have both sheer and blackout curtains in case you want to enjoy a deep sleep in! You can travel light as pillows, linen, beach and bath towels are provided as well as shower wash. Beautiful setting right on the riverfront. The townhouse is lovely - clean and comfortable with every convenience you could wish for. And the views!! Just Wow!
Had a fantastic mini break there. The place is very well stocked with everything and the location is awesome. I will come back and absolutely recommend it to my friends.
Loved staying here. An older property but lovingly cared for and decorated. Was gorgeous to wake up with pelicans and dolphins outsdie the window. Will bring the family next time!

Wonderfully appointed and in a wonderful location. The interiors were lovely and welcoming. Amazing views—We didn’t want to leave the bedroom because of the views.
We are very much looking forward to coming back!
The best place to relax & unwind. Situated on the river's edge, extremely quiet with great views. The only thing you supply is food & beverage. Locally fresh seafood is caught daily & can bought in the markets. Plenty eateries of all kinds. Also close to other notable towns.Seven days was not enough.
Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! The view was outstanding, able to fish, swim and relax without leaving the property. It was fantastic that we were also able to bring our fur babies for Christmas. Highly recommend this property!
Beautiful clean property in a lovely location. The views over the river, and outdoor area are amazing. Very comfortable accomodation and had everything we needed. Thank you Richard. We will be back!

About the host

Being one of a brood of seven kids, our parents just loved having family and friends over. Now that the kids have all grown up, we want to share our little river house knowing our guests will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property
Take a look and you'll see why! Located as close to the Richmond River as you can get! You feel like you are on a house boat without the rocking and the dolphins, pelican and other bird and sea life has you nature gazing from daylight till dark.
Dad brought it for mum's 40th Birthday plus it was located right beside his brother and wife.
What makes this property unique
Your own beach and river for sunning and swimming. The views and the peace and quiet. Plus we are pet friendly but please seek permission by providing a description of your fury family members prior to booking.
