Step into your own private oasis at Genie House, a bright and breezy three-bedroom retreat perfectly positioned to soak up the best of Byron Bay. With polished timber floors, stylish interiors, and a lush tropical garden, this light-filled home is designed for comfort, relaxation, and a touch of magic.
Genie House is a peaceful and relaxing retreat, ideal for families, couples, and anyone seeking a quiet escape. We kindly ask guests to respect the tranquillity of the space by avoiding loud music or any behaviour that might disturb our neighbours.
The Space
• 3 bedrooms: 2 with queen beds, 1 with 2 king single beds
• All bedrooms feature crisp white linen, fluffy towels, and TVs with free Netflix
• French doors from the queen rooms open onto a sunny, north-facing deck — perfect for catching cooling summer breezes or warm winter sun
• One bathroom with combined bath/shower, vanity, and toilet
• Main bedroom can accommodate a travel cot or bassinet (hire via Byron Bay Holiday Hire).
Living & Dining
• Air-conditioned, open-plan living area with comfy seating, 55” Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi
• Cozy wood fireplace for winter stays (first load of wood complimentary)
• Dining area with concertina windows bringing the outdoors in
• Small laptop desk & reading chair with overhead lamp — ideal for working remotely or curling up with a good book

We love the laid-back lifestyle that Byron Bay offers. Mornings often start with a surf or a peaceful walk up to the lighthouse, taking in the stunning ocean views along the way. We enjoy being so close to town, with its mix of local cafes, markets, and some truly incredible restaurants — from fresh seafood to vibrant Asian and Italian spots.
One of our favourite things about this part of Byron is the easy pace — you can walk or bike almost everywhere, exploring the back streets and discovering hidden corners of the town. The beaches are close enough for a spontaneous swim, and there’s a real sense of community here that makes it feel warm and welcoming.
