The cottage and property were lovely! The hosts were very responsive and the cottage was filled with lots of nice touches (I kept thinking that they had thought of everything!). I especially appreciated the gardens and the balcony area to sit and have a cuppa and watch the birds.I would recommend this property if youāre after a tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle.
Perfect for a weekend getaway!Cosy, clean, private with all the comforts you could ask for & set amongst a well maintained cottage garden with gorgeous views!Fiona & Michael have thought of everything.

We had a great experience at the Wattle Tiny Houseā¦.very comfortable, lots of nice touches by the hosts, a beautiful setting! The photos donāt the views justice ā¦.itās a beautiful outlook, the bath was amazing too!
Exceptional holiday house. Everything about this property was amazing. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. The cottage was just perfect. location and views were amazing. Sitting on the chairs outside watching the sunrise and hearing nothing but the sound of birds was just what the doctor prescribed. Would highly recommend for anyone after a chance to unwind and relax.
A beautiful little cottage that suited us perfectly.Clean, warm and welcoming. So many little extras that made the stay so comfortable. The weather was gloomy, so not much adventure. Would love to visit again with our dogs and finish reading your story of the cottage Thankyou
This property was exactly as described. Cosy, thoughtfully decorated with the most amazing mountain views. I loved the chiminea for evenings and the bath tub was very luxurious (highly recommend) the miniature ponies were adorable and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again. Thanks Fiona and Michael

Thankyou Jet , we loved having you stay with us too ! Such tidy considerate great guests as yourself are always welcome at our little getaway
Michael and Fiona have created a real gem of a place for a getaway for a couple and a pooch. Though touted as a 'tiny house', the accommodation is actually quite spacious and the fenced-off outdoor area was perfect for our dachshund to explore in (we didn't see any wedge-tailed eagles!). Walking around the wider property area was a highlight - as was meeting the 2 mini horses. The property was easy to find despite being in an isolated area with the help of detailed directions from the hosts.

The views are beautiful . Easy to immerse oneself in nature. The little house was probably very sweet some time ago but we felt it isn't as loved as it may have been at one time. The floors were bumpy, uneven and a tripping hazzard. The overhead lighting was either non-existent in some areas and not working in others. Many odd small lamps were placed all over the place but still not producing much light. I'm so sorry to give such a bad review because I can see much potential in this cute cottage if it was given the attention it requires. The shower was very good

Thankyou for your review and sorry you thought the cottage wasnt what you expected . We consistently recieve 5 star reviews for our little cottage so quite suprised at your review. We list it as vintage style it is not a modern space so some things are not perfectly but that gives it character that we and others love.
The property including wildlife was amazing . The views were fantastic and the accommodation was very homely with many nice little touches . Amazing place to stay with the outdoor bath very relaxing . Would easily stay again .
Just spent a couple of days at Wattle Cottage and had a great time. Cottage was cosy and quaint. It was clean, well looked after and everything was supplied. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Thereās plenty to do with numerous walks around the property, interacting with the farm animals and Lake Lyall being a short drive away. Itās also a perfect place take a dog, with their needs catered for and an enclosed backyard to the cottage. The hosts, Fiona and Michael, were very friendly and extremely helpful and communication was easy. Overall, a relaxing and great place to stay.

Why they chose this property
we bought this property because we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of city life with large open spaces ,peace and quiet.
