About this property

Fully renovated 19th century French house w/ private pool, AC & inner courtyard

Come enjoy the “douceur de vivre” of the French south in the lovely village of Lespignan, 10 min from the beach and many historical sites. If you truly want to experience French living away from the touristy areas and yet full of discoveries, you can’t do better.

Our house is located at the center of the village, close to all amenities: excellent bakeries where to buy your morning (or evening) bread, a supermarket, cafés, a newsstand, and a local wine outlet. Additionally, a local food market takes place twice a week (we highly recommend their goat cheese!).

The house itself is from 1860. It is a former wine-making property, fully renovated with natural materials and with respect to its original method of construction. The living room has a large 9-meter-high atrium where wine vats were stored, with a beautiful rock fountain.

The house has a private courtyard with a rock-hewn pool, a shaded poolside dining terrace, and an atrium with a comfortable day bed/ sofa to relax … 4 air-conditioned bedrooms sleep 8 people, 2 bathrooms, a TV set, and Wireless internet and fans. Baby beds and highchairs are available upon request prior to arrival.
We are fourth-generation “Lespignanais” and will be happy to help you discover this village and its neighboring areas.

Wonderful old building in a small friendly village!

Sophie was a wonderful host, good English and very keen that we had everything under control The house is wonderful with good ac all around. Good kitchen and a wonderful pool. Our kids and our friends really did love it. Lespignan is a good little village close to the ocean and Beziers. It has a small shop close to the house, some restaurants and friendly villagers. Kepp in mind to get a rental car

Maison sympathique

Maison au calme, proche de toutes commodités. Les chambres sont grandes, nous étions 4 adultes,2 enfants et 2 bébés, on avait largement assez de place. Cependant la propreté reste à améliorer. La fonction courant dans la piscine ne fonctionnait pas, et la fonction balnéo de la baignoire également. Il manque des fenêtres sur l’arrière de la maison, ce qui permettrait une bonne aération de celle ci ou mettre une climatisation. La piscine est assez grande mais est au soleil qu’une partie de la journée donc ne chauffe pas énormément (25 degrés fin août avec des températures chaudes) la pompe à chaleur existante n’est pas mise à disposition. Les propriétaires sont très agréables et communicatifs ☺️ En résumé, très contents de notre séjour mais il reste des points à améliorer.

Nous sommes heureux que vous soyez satisfait de votre séjour. Vous faites référence à des fonctionnalités de la piscine et de la maison qui ne sont pas offertes lors de la location et n’étaient pas mentionnées dans l’annonce. S’agissant de la pompe à chaleur pour la piscine (non mentionnée dans l'annonce), nous ne l’utilisons pas nous-même car l’utilisation est énergivore, et en pleine canicule/ vague de chaleur historique cet été, les questions d’évapotranspiration en rendent l’activation peu éco-responsable. Vous n’avez mentionné à aucun moment de votre séjour des préoccupations quant à la propreté de la maison, à l’exception de « miettes sur une étagère » évoquées avec ma maman à la fin de votre séjour, sans plus de précision, même après mon suivi spécifique sur ce sujet. La propreté est une priorité pour nous et n’a jamais été un problème avec les précédents occupants. Nous sommes très attachés à répondre aux demandes / besoins des locataires durant leur séjour, et regrettons donc que vous ne nous ayez pas contacté à ce sujet avant votre départ.

Das Haus ist wie in der Beschreibung. Lage ist Zentral um alles notwendige wie Apotheke, Bäckerei, Spar zu erreichen. Das Haus ist groß und geräumig. Der Pool lädt zum erfischen ein. Das Meer ist mit dem Auto , ca. 12min. entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war stets gegeben und einwandfrei. Einziges Manko ist das Parken, da die Gassen sehr eng sind. Alles in Allem kann ich das Objekt sehr empfehlen.

Superbe !

Une belle maison avec une jolie piscine, un accueil très agréable et un bien sympathique village. La maison est grande, très bien équipée et chaleureuse à vivre. La piscine pas très grande mais jolie et bien agencée. Quelques difficultés de stationnement mais c'est le prix pour vivre dans un village authentique situé à une vingtaine de minutes des plages.
