We chose this property because of the serenity and peacefullness it gave us, nestled away from the business of life. At the time our daughter was going to university and we wanted to give her a secure, safe environment to live in . Close to all public transport. Bus stop 200m walk, tram 7 min walk. Great location. Close proximity to Glenelg beach, Adelaide airport, Adelaide CBD(20 min drive), shopping areas-Jetty Rd., Marion Shopping Centre, Flinders & Adelaide hospital, waterparks(The Beach House), gyms, playgrounds, Adelaide universities. Once she had her degree we just couldn't sell the place. Our home away from home.
What makes this Townhouse unique
We love the seclusion of the townhouse. It is in a group of 4 townhouses, with ours being at the rear in a very quiet location, even though we are just 200m from Anzac Highway. Very peaceful location. This is our paradise.

Everything we needed, really well laid out apartment
A really pleasant stay, everyone was really happy.
Would have benifited from a cleaning of the yard as the rubbish attracted ants.
The property is 10 mins drive from Glenelg Beach. Can be a bit noisy with planes flying over quite often. Garage was too tight to park our KIA carnival and difficult to drive in/out. However street parking was available and easy to access. During the time we visited, the recycle bin was full of rubbish and left on the nature strip. There were two 1 meter tall drums full of recycle rubbish in the garage (beer bottles after beer bottles. Looked like just finished cleaning after a big party) , ants were everywhere in the yard. We didn't use the yard during the stay, it was just not inviting at all.

"HOME AWAY FROM HOME"
Home Away From Home Townhouse is a 3 minute drive to Glenelg Beach. Depending on where you park your car it will take a few more minutes to walk to the beach-exercise is healthy. The recycled bin which was on the medium strip for garbage pick up was full of guests rubbish. People should know by know what goes in the recycled bin. I was sorting this out the day after you left, and I was not impressed with what I had to sort out.The drums of cans were taken away the next day. The garden had a great pruning and the lawn looked like new. As for the parking you could have parked directly in front of the roller door-off the street parking, which can not be seen from the road. my daughter has a similar car and manages to manipulate the car. Google maps and the townhous photos show the parking. This is something out of my control, as the townhouse was built when there no big 4WD's. It is in a quiet, secluded area. The flight path of the planes does not go directly over the townhouse, and if you are inside with the doors closed it is a rarity when you hear the planes, let alone see the planes.
Now for the townhouse where you spent your time but no comments. The price is excellent for sleeping 7 guests and is well equipped in a good location-Glenelg North-3 minute drive to the beach, Jetty Rd shopping/Restaurants. The bus stop is within a minutes walk, 7 minutes to the tram, 20 minutes if traffic is good to get into Adelaide CBD, close to the Aquatic Centre, Marion Shopping Centre, and a 10-15 minute drive max to Adelaide Airport.
Facilities within the townhouse are always been upgraded, as was the kitchen and laundry a few years ago, and the bathroom recently. It has an evap air-conditioner that works wonders if the humidity is not too high (just like air-cons), an overhead fan in the lounge and stand alone fans in the bedrooms.The furniture is always being upgraded and the ammount of toilet paper and detergent is astronomical. All you have to bring is your own personal gear and food.
What else can i say except that I received recently a 9.8 out of 10
