Tastefully decorated, cosy Riverside cabin (studio loft) suitable for couples or small families. Peaceful location in the snowgums above Thredbo River yet only 50m to shuttle bus stop taking you to Valley Terminal or Friday Flats. Short walk to Thredbo Village shops and restaurants. Ski slopes, tennis courts, bob sled, golf course and hiking trails all within easy access. Driftwood is only a few minutes walk to the Chapel if you are coming to a wedding in Thredbo.

Great spot and has everything you need.

Our little family of four had a great stay. Place while small has everything you need and small touches by the owner such as providing coffee capsules and washing powder made all the difference. Lovely location and bus is just outside.

Gorgeous

Lovely chalet nestled away amongst the snow gums. Great location to do Mt Kosciuszko. A couple of great cafes and restaurants open in the quiet village during November. Very restful and private and all the amenities.

The cabin was cozy, fully furnished with beautiful views overlooking mountains. The location is peaceful and convenient. The property is clean and well maintained, with a great kitchen and full size fridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Susie bought Driftwood in 2012 as she loves ski-ing, hiking, golf and swimming - all easily available in Thredbo. She regularly uses the cabin and her favourite place is the window seat where you can snuggle up with a good book and look out at the fabulous view!

Why they chose this property

Thredbo is a beautiful alpine village with lots of outdoor activities. There are also cafes, restaurants and bars which are an easy walk from the cabin.

What makes this property unique

Driftwood is set back from the road with no passing traffic so you can sit on the front balcony and hear the Thredbo river. It has fantastic views looking up to the super trail. The loft bedroom has sliding doors onto a back balcony so you lie in bed and (if you are lucky) catch sight of deer as they wander past.
