BLUEBIRD ESCAPE: A retreat for weekend or weekly getaways in the Southern Highlands, New South Wales. Private, secluded, modern Australian luxury on a private road in Canyonleigh. Only 30 minutes from Moss Vale and Berrima, 40 minutes from Bowral and just under 2 hours from Sydney or Canberra. Three bedrooms, spacious living, chef's kitchen, bush, views, fully equipped.

STUNNING LOCATION: Sitting high on the sides of the Wollondilly valley. Over 100 acres of natural bush. Accommodation perched in a clearing, on a small ridge looking over sandstone escarpments, gullies and valleys. Bush views stretching to the horizon. Huge eucalypts protect acacias, banksias and orchids. Kangaroos, wombats, koalas and native birds abound. Get away from it all – complete privacy no neighbours to be seen.

REFINED COMFORT: Luxurious, contemporary accommodation over three pavilions. A mix of modern furniture and selected antiques. A large open plan living space with fully equipped kitchen and three double bedrooms. All with uninterrupted bush valley views. Surrounded by decks. Soak up the sun or lie in the shade.

RELAX AND UNWIND: Perfect for a romantic sojourn for 2, families and friends looking for peace away from the cityand to catch up over a few good meals around the fire, a base from which to explore the Southern Highlands or a stolen few days by yourself to read books or simply do nothing. Comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults (and, if you really can’t leave them behind, a couple of smaller kids too).

ATMOSPHERIC: Cozy atmosphere on those cold winter days in front of the fire with an unlimited supply of wood. Beautifully haunting and still with fog or rain in valley. Classically Australian-bush on those hot summer days with a breeze flowing through the large open doors.

EAT: The large open plan living pavilion includes a kitchen, and dining and sitting areas positioned alongside a large wood fireplace. A rock wall, built from stone collected on the property, stretches along one side of the room with floor to ceiling glass on the others. A spectacular space. Spacious, fully equipped kitchen. Eight metres of stainless steel bench space next to a four metre dining table. 90cm gas oven and hobs. Complete array of pans, pots, utensils. Expresso coffee machine and beans. Everything a cook could need ensure that catering for family and friends is no chore. Just bring your food and creativity to feast like kings and queens!

SLEEP: The main bedroom pavilion (up to 4 adults) has 2 bedrooms with king size beds, and share a large separate bathroom with double vanity and showers. All with uninterrupted bush valley views. The last pavilion (for 2 more adults) contains the third double bedroom, bathroom and double car port. Luxurious bedding, pillows and cushions galore.

COMMUNICATIONS: The property has speedy STARLINK WIFI suitable for WIFI audio/video calls & internet + an AppleTV if you want to log into your subscriptions and stream away. Note, there is patchy to no cellular mobile phone coverage at Bluebird Escape.

NOTE: For 2hrs from Sydney, Bluebird Escape is beautifully remote. Landline, internet, TV & services rely on Telstra/satellites/utilities/local fauna/weather. Things normally work perfectly, but with that lot we can't guarantee they are all up all of the time. If you are inconvenienced during your stay, please contact us & we will see if we can sort it out.

SECURITY The property is on its own 110 acre block without local traffic. Buildings are lockable. External security cameras are affixed to the pavilions monitoring driveway and garage but do not monitor any internal spaces.
