About Sara Burdon
We're an english couple that have been based in Morzine since 2005. We know the area very well, and Sara has worked for the Tourist Office and the Portes du Soleil ski area over a number of years. We love skiing, cycling and hiking. We live in the lower apartment so are around most of the time and happy to help with local knowledge.
Sara Burdon purchased this Apartment in 2015
Why Sara Burdon chose Morzine
We bought the chalet as we saw it's huge potential. It's a fantastic building in a great location - close to the town centre and slopes, but far away enough to not be bothered by noise. We completely pulled apart the upper floor to create the perfect ski apartment.
What makes this Apartment unique
The views from the terrace mean you can check the Pleney slopes in the morning and watch night skiing and fireworks from the comfort of the lounge or balcony.

Lovely apartment. Perfect for our long weekend away
The apartment was great. Slightly out of town but a really comfortable place to come back to after a day on the slopes. It is really well equipped and we had such a relaxing time.
Great property in a good location and helpful owner!
As soon as I booked Sara was on hand to help out with every question and helped us with transfer, ski hire and anything else we asked.
Chalet is amazing and was perfect for our trip!
A lovely apartment with a high level of finish. Very comfortable for a group of 5
Had a 5 night stay for 5 people.
Sara was very helpful when required but let us get on with our stay uninterrupted.
Lovely little bar/restaurant on the same road and a short walk down the hill to the main town bars.
Would definitely return to the property if planning a stay in morzine.
Lovely, lovely Morzine
We had a very nice 5 day stay in this apartment recently. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to the couple of queries I had before/once booked. The apartment was ready for our arrival and there was a welcome bottle of wine, together with tea, coffee, milk, cookies etc for us too. It is on ski bus route D and the stop is right outside the apartment which is fantastic, an efficient and prompt service every 30 minutes through the day and early evening - I just wish it had run later in the evening as it's quite a steep hill to walk back up and I was struggling a little with a health issue while there - the bonus though is that it does give you lovely views over Morzine.
Well presented apartment within walking distance of Morzine centre.
Lovely location over looking Morzine.
Easy walking distance to town centre.
Very well presented and good storage for bikes.
Will be looking to book again and would highly recommend to all.
Beautiful apartment in Morzine
We had a lovely week in this beautiful apartment situated in a quiet residential part of Morzine.
The apartment was very comfortable and beautifully decorated and as previously described larger than expected.
It was easy to access the slopes using the free bus which conveniently stops straight outside the building and in the evenings we enjoyed a gentle stroll into town.
We would highly recommend it and hope to return!
The apartment is perfectly situated, a 5 minute walk into the town centre, so it's easy to get into the shops, bars and restaurants, but return to a calm, quiet residential part of town away from late night noise.
To access ski lifts the easiest way is to use the free bus. The bus line A to Prodains (direct access to Avoriaz) is a few minutes walk away, and then a 10 minute bus trip to the express telepherique. Taking the same bus in the opposite direction will get you to the Pleney lift in 5 minutes. Alternatively, the line D for Pleney and Super Morzine stops just outside the chalet, seconds from the door, and should be a little under 10 minutes to get to Super Morzine and just over 10 for Pleney. Otherwise you can walk to either Super Morzine or Pleney in about 15 minutes - they are each 1km away.
