Relaxing cottage nestled in the forest

We loved staying in the Moana Cottage on Magnetic Island. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including aircon in every room and nicely furnished. Seeing the wallabies and other wildlife meters away in the backyard was a highlight! Would definitely stay again.

Great property with everything we needed and within walking distance to Horseshoe Bay. Does need screens on all back doors replaced as bugs are able to get in as they are all shredded at the bottom.

Cosy cottage

Moana cottage was a very accomodating clean and comfortable oasis and a 5 minute stroll to our Favorite bay. Morning and evenings we were greeted by the local wildlife at the back door. Moana was Private and cosy with no need for a car. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay Including stubbie coolers and beach towels. Can’t wait for our next trip to Maggie!

Awesome place to stay on Magnetic Island

Very happy with Moana Cottage as holiday house on Magnetic Island. Lots of space 2 bed modern house with great facilities and even better location with cute local wallabies in the backyard. We had a great time and the air con was great. Horseshoe Bay was definitely the best part of Magnetic Island and this property was a 5 minute walk to the beach.

What a lovely mini break we had at Moana Cottage. Arrived at 10pm to the lights and the door unlocked. Awoke to native birdsong and a beautiful day - and greeted by rock wallabies out the back as we had our coffee. The cottage was comfortable, well appointed, and didn't lack for anything. a 5 minute walk to the beach and cafes (and bus stop if you need it). It's a great location - we love Horseshoe Bay and its proximity to the national park. Even saw a koala in a tree right on our street! Highly recommended.

Relaxation at its best

This pictures are true. Great place with everything you need to relax. Native animals at your back door. Books to read, safe swimming and a beach with bar within walking distance. Wonderful to watch the sun set. Then home or eat out. Two fridges makes for a great holiday. Esky too. Don't bring a thing. Shop on the island and enjoy!! We did. Thanks
