Avon Lodge Ocean Beach Retreat

Avon Lodge is the perfect retreat if you want to enjoy your holiday with space and light surrounding you. Located just 200m from the eastern end of Beach 16 walking track, you'll find Avon Lodge the perfect holiday retreat to enjoy with family and friends. This 21 square family beach house comfortably sleeps a maximum of 15 adults with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Avon Lodge offers total privacy for a relaxing break. Set on a peaceful 2/3 acre garden and natural bush block, you won't be disturbed by noisy neighbors even in the height of the summer season. Drop off to sleep with the muted sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the shore and awaken feeling refreshed to the morning birdsong!! (Sounds corny but true!!)

Offering 3 spacious living areas and north and south facing out-door decks, everyone will be able to find a space they can enjoy. The main living area contains a 55inch TV with DVD player/recorder and a stereo system. The second and third areas are great for relaxing, reading or games.

A large country style kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Cupboards are filled with crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans, so if you're wanting to cook up a feast for a large gathering, there's no shortage of these essential items. In the laundry there is a washing machine and ironing facilities. The house is well heated in winter with 2 gas wall furnace heaters and a fabulous open log fireplace.(Wood is supplied for an evening fire only. Extra supplies can be purchased at the local service station if required.) Ceiling fans in all rooms maintain a comfortable temperature during the summer months.

An all weather covered north facing deck is set up with outdoor dining, comfortable cane seating and bbq facilites. This opens onto a 1/2 acre back garden full of native moonahs and bush. Being fully fenced, it 's an awesome place for children to play and explore. Outside pets are allowed at the owners discretion. (Due to damage incurred, if pets are brought without prior approval, bond will be forfeited in total.)

At the front of the house we've newly built 60m2 of decking which can be accessed from the dining , lounge and bedrooms. Outdoor dining and seating facilites are also supplied. This increases our total outdoor living space to nearly 100m2!!

The house is an easy 5 minute walk to the ocean beach track, which then meanders it's way through the dunes down to the surf at the eastern end of the famous Beach 16.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
All bedrooms and living areas have sliding doors which open onto the outdoor decks or grassed area.

Doonas and pillows are supplied. Unless linen is booked, guests are required to bring pillow cover, bottom sheet, doona cover, towels and beach towels. If doona requires laundering after use a charge will apply.
