About Margot Shayan
We are a professional couple who have travelled widely, living among a diverse range of people and cultures, and we count many people from cities and countries we have visited as friends. Our interests include travelling, music, theatre and movies, reading, cooking and dining out, and activities centred round beautiful Port Phillip Bay - coastal cliff walks, swimming, catching the spectacular sunset over the water every day. At 'Atlantic View', our aim is to provide all the amenity and comfort we ourselves would like to find in a holiday home, against the backdrop of spectacular views, and we warmly welcome guests from all backgrounds and cultures to enjoy our lovely home as much as we do.

Loved the house and the views were spectacular. If we are lucky enough to return to Mount Martha, we would rent this same house again.
Jan and her group were lovely guests. They were great at keeping in touch before their stay, and the house was beautifully neat and clean when they checked out. We would be happy to host them whenever they are down under again!
Great location near beach.
Overall good communication with contact. Lovely views and a great location.
Anna and her family were considerate guests, and the house was left clean and tidy. We would be happy to host Anna and her family again.
As described: beautiful view and comfortable facilities. We will stay at "Atlantic View" again!
Peter and his family were terrific guests. They were great communicators before their stay, and after check-in, left everything neat, clean and in order. We would be very happy to host this nice family when they next visit Mount Martha!
Outstanding Views & Toasty Warm
We just spent a girls weekend away at this wonderful property and it was perfect for our needs. The views were spectacular and we were all catered for very comfortably (8 of us in total). The central heating was wonderful as we went on a cold weekend so the home was toasty warm in no time and it was so lovely sitting by the gas log fire too. The bedding / quilts / pillows were of high quality and super comfy. Highly recommend, we hope to stay again one day! Thank you Margot for a wonderful stay and your communication throughout the booking process was excellent :)
Lisette and her group were terrific guests! They communicated details for their stay and group beforehand so we could accommodate what they needed. They were very appreciative of the house and amenities, and we found them great to host in every way! We'll be very happy if Lisette would like to stay at 'Atlantic View' again!
Fantastic house in surperb location!
My friends and family had a fantastic stay at Atalantic View, starting on arrival with a chilled bottle of bubbly and birthday card welcoming us for the week. The house was well appointed, especially for families with kids as there’s plenty of room and toys. Fantastic balcony and view, which we couldn’t take advantage of as much as we’d have liked due to crazy winds and chilly temps. But the fireplace made it cosy while we bunkered down inside.
Great facilities for cooking at home. Only downside might be the lack of heating on the balcony - rugging up or having heaters would make the balcony even more useable and the views even more long lasting. Had a fabulous stay and would stay again and recommend to others.
Great hosts too - very communicative and accommodating. Thanks Margot.
Rebbecca's group were terrific guests. They were great at communicating before their stay, and we were delighted that Rebecca was planning to spend a significant birthday with family and friends at 'Atlantic View'. On check-out, the group left the house in perfect order. We would be very happy to host Rebecca again - hopefully next time the weather may be kinder! Thanks for suggestions re heaters on the balcony, we'll investigate this, although the sometimes strong winds may be a difficulty. Thanks for being such fantastic guests, Rebecca!
Welcoming and stunning
This was our second stay at Atlantic view and we came back specifically because of the memories we created in the previous year. The house was exceptionally clean and Margot and Ash went out of their way to make us feel welcome with chocolates on the table and a welcome back note. The house is well equipped with everything you’d need and you can tell it’s lovingly looked after. The dishwasher may need a service as it was a bit dodgy this time round but is probably the most used piece of equipment in the house! I’d suggest a blind over the window upstairs above the stairway as well as with the consecutive 30 plus degrees days it was extremely strong in the afternoon in that area.
Overall a lovely stay and we enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony. Thank you both
We were delighted when Irma and her group decided to pay a second visit to 'Atlantic View'. This lovely group of friends was a pleasure to communicate with before their stay, and at check-out, they left our home in immaculate condition. Sorry the dishwasher didn't perform so well - we'll be looking into it this week. Thanks also for the tip about a blind in the stairwell window, a great idea for summer heat waves! Overall we'd like to thank Irma and her friends for being the perfect guests - it was a pleasure to host you again at 'Atlantic View'!
