We loved our stay at this property on Hyams beach. Walking distance to the beach with our pooch which was perfect and all the amenities and comforts at the property for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to come back.
Enjoyed our stay at the beach house. Great location with a very quick walk to the beach. The house was basic but met all our needs and was ideal with kids.
My trip there began a bit rocky due to some lost car keys, but Joy was incredibly understanding and supportive. I'm so glad we went in the end. The beaches there are so beautiful, and the house was perfect for my partner and my doggie! I'd say the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that the bed was a little soft for our liking, and I could only get the record player to play at a pretty low volume. I loved all the old vinyls, though!
An original fibro beach house with wonderful views of Jervis Bay from the back deck. As there is one basic bathroom, the house is best suited to four people at most. The house is pet friendly but not fully fenced, which made it difficult to leave our dog during the day. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hyams Beach.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this classic Aussie beach shack. Perfectly located- super clean, has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It even comes with its own Hoppy-Dog visitors at night- such a delight! Will only look to stay here if we come again- owner was very communicative and genuine
Perfect location. Well stocked. Great deck with awning for when it was super hot.
Some of the decor needs updating.
Searched for an iron and ironing board but couldn't find one. We had a lovely stay.
Had a great time. Cute, characterful house that was nice and comfy and clean! Joy was very helpful and responsive.

Great location, run-down and dirty interior/place
The location and view from the deck was great. However the owner should invest into renovation before renting out the place to the next guests. We’ve unfortunately found the entire place to be dirty, some items rusty and a lot of animal hair. Definitely Hyams Beach is a great place but better chose another house if you don’t want to end up cleaning the place for half a day during your vacation and dealing with a landlord that has a peculiar definition of “retro”.

Hanging at Hyams
We had fun at this retro inspired beach house. Everything's been thought of, from cooking to entertainment in poor weather. We enjoyed going through the vinyl record collection, watching the old DVDs and cooking on the weber BBQ. The house is small but comfy - and had the weather been better we definitely would've made more use of the deck.

Fantastic
We had a great stay at Hyams beach house. For people who like to cook the kitchen had just about everything you could need. And the rainy weather meant we could start on the record collection. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Lovely & peaceful
We stayed at Hyams beach house for 3 nights over Easter for much needed R&R. Hopefully, we will return! The location was perfect: close to beaches & gorgeous walks through national parks. We particularly liked the kitchen, the deck with visiting bird life & the fantastic vinyl collection. Joy was a pleasure to organise our stay with. thank you :-)

Wonderful Weekend Away in a Fabulous Location
Loved our long weekend here. My husband spent hours going through the record collection and we just loved going for sunset walks along the beautiful white sand beach towards HMAS Creswell. Our dogs were pretty happy to be able to come with us for a change and the local bird wildlife was a real treat too.
We'd definitely love to come back!

Cute Cottage
We (5) just stayed one night but it was excellent. Great facilities, close to the beach and presented in a art-deco layout that was really functional and most of all clean. Highly recommended especially for the money.

Retro Comfort and Style
A really nice little house, with simple amenities but pretty much everything we needed. Particularly loved the large verandah, the lawn that our son and friends played on and the closeness to the beach and cafe. Great record collection too! The owner was very easy to deal with, we felt comfortable with it right from the start. We will stay again if we are down that way.

A fabulous holiday house!
We stayed for just under a week before Easter and we loved the house, its exactly what the description says. We have 2 young boys who loved the bunk beds, the kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens I have seen in a holiday house - nothing over the top, just everything we needed and perfectly located for the beach (and coffee shop). The house was spotlessly clean and to top it off we had a kangaroo hanging out in the garden. We really look forward to coming back again soon.
