The house was clean, however some of the fixtures, couch and outside chairs are very worn. The couch isn't very comfortable, and the outside chair covers are torn. They need renewing. It states that the place is pet friendly. It would be if the fence wasn't broken/missing in parts where the hedge is growing out the front. Our dog did escape early Sunday morning and we had to go looking for her. Luckily someone found her and could hear us calling her name. We were so lucky to get her back as she is only 6 months old. The worst thing is the stairs going up into the house. They are a VERY BIG SAFETY HAZARD. There is no railing around the wooden balcony, and no hand railing going up the stairs, which are rather steep. We had elderly people staying with us and we had to help them up and down the stairs. It was very dangerous. We did use the air conditioning a couple of times. There must be birds in the ceiling as feathers came out of the ducts all over the floor in the bedrooms. Besides that, it was a good place to stay.

We would like to clarify the access to the house. The entry consists of three steps leading up to the deck, not a flight of stairs. As such, these steps are fully compliant with current building regulations, and there is no legal requirement for handrails or balustrading at that height. That said, we acknowledge that guests with mobility concerns may find any steps challenging, and we encourage guests to consider this when booking.

Great garden…
Great garden, outdoor deck and location. Could be such a fantastic rental if a small amount of money was invested to tidy things up.
Unfortunately the air conditioning broke when we were there as did one of the toilet seats ( which was old and cracked), reducing us to one toilet for 10 people.
Agent was fantastic and provided us with wine glasses and we invested in some champagne flutes as there were none provided.
BBQ definitely needs to be replaced.
Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Great house and garden and location but...
The house was dirty. Floors had not been mopped. Crumbs on the dining table. Couch stained and covered in crumbs. Queen bed in master bedroom made up with single bed clothes.
We arrived to grubby windows, grubby stove, plates snd cutlery not washed properly, both fly screens half ripped from the door, a squealing sliding door, squeaky beds, coffee maker spurting steam from its base. The location is good, the house layout is good, the beds were reasonably comfy though not amazing. But for the money we paid we felt ripped off snd like the landlord didn’t really care about their house.
