Newly renovated luxury 2 BR cottage with unique local craftman designer feature throughout.

Ideal for romantic escapes or for some quality time with your family or special friends.This luxury cottage has everything you should need for your stay. Curl up with a special book or lay back and enjoy a great movie or settle on the veranda to soak in the spectacular Alpine views of Trappers Gap and the Mighty Mt. Bogong.





Indulge, Relax, Enjoy!

Indulge in the local produce from the many spectacular restaurants, cafes, vineyards and breweries, which are all close by or help yourself to the fruit from the orchard from the garden.

Features include a spacious open living lounge and fully equipped kitchen, double garage, wood burning fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and spa, full laundry facilities , additional toilet in laundry, Flat Screen LCD TV and CD and DVD player.

Sleeps five, consisting of either one queen size bed in the master bedroom and one king size and a trundle or two long singles and a trundle in the second bed room. All linen provided.

Trappers Cottage is nestled in the Upper Kiewa Valley, which is 30km from Bright and only a 30 minute drive from Falls Creek Ski Resort, with Hotham and Mt Buffalo near by.

Local attraction include:
Beautiful walking and bike tails, horse riding, paragliding, scenic drives.

Skiing, boarding and snow play in the alps, mountain cattleman's huts.

Crystal clear rivers and lakes, fishing, rock climbing, abseiling, markets, galleries, solar swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis courts, golf course, children's playgrounds and bike park and rich history of our local area at the information centre.

Beautiful relaxing cottage

From the time we opened the door of Trappers Cottage we were relaxed, the beautiful lemon myrtle and citrus scent as we walked in, the beautiful interior design, furnishings and the gorgeous garden with great views of the mountains. Everything about Trappers Cottage was wonderful and we will definitely be staying there again.

This was a great place to stay for our family ski holiday, well located to drive to either Falls Creek or Hotham. Extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful - would be fantastic to come back in summer and enjoy the outdoor space a bit more.

Wonderful cottage!

We loved staying at this cottage as it had every comfort anyone could need! It was beautifully decorated, super clean and felt like a home away from home! Beds are most comfortable (important to me as I have a bad hip). We loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast, admiring the mountain view and listening to the birds! One little minus is the close proximity to the road with some traffic noise but we knew that before we booked.... Sonja was most helpful and prompt in her contacting us. We will definitely go back! Thank you Sonja for a wonderful stay!

Sheer relaxation and comfort

What an amazingly unique cottage ! Communication with the manager was easy and the directions were great . But the house ….. the photos just don’t do it justice ! Everything was of high quality and there was everything there to make for a relaxing stay . The kitchen was so well stocked and practical to use with plenty of cooking and eating utensils. We ate fresh oranges from the orchard on the property and sat relaxing in the gorgeous north east sun on the back verandahs . It was great to have an easy to use laundry and the extra toilet was appreciated. Our only issue was that it was too warm for us to be able to use the outside fire pit or the fire inside ! It must be wonderful in winter . It looked well designed for people who might stay for the snow and it was only a 25 minute drive to Bright if you could tear yourself away from the view ! It is within an easy walk to a brewery and Mt Beauty is so close . There is a little traffic noise but this was such a small price to pay for the artistic details snd craftsmanship that is exhibited in this cottage . It was so hard to leave . Until next time …….

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quirky. You can’t fail to be impressed by how lovely this place is- including the garden. The location is great, a short 20 mins to the foot of Mt Bogong and a quick walk to the cafes and bakeries. It is lovely to be able to eat on the veranda and look at the view.
