Alga Beach House Perth Scarborough Beach


We have a Four day minimum stay only on our ground floor property.

Alga beach house is located on the ground level of our 2 storey house. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with kitchen, dining and living , and a large undercover court yard area with a BBQ.
There are 2 car parking spaces available off road right near the front door. The house is set back from the road and has deadlocks and security sensor lights.

Alga Beach House is a 60's house made from sandstone and brick nestled high in the sand dunes of Scarborough. The house is quite sound proof.
The ground floor's main bedroom has a queen , the second bedroom has a queen and single bed and the third bedroom has a double bed with ensuite, shower and WC .

The main bathroom has a shower, claw foot bath,WC and laundry with washing machine.

The large courtyard has 2 grapevines and looks out to the canopy of our flame tree and beyond with views toward Perth city.
In summer it's great as we get the seabreeze every afternoon.
We are a 5 min walk from Scarborough Beach which is a white sand beach with pristine waters, great for swimming, learning to surf and magnificent sunsets.

Close to Amenities

The coastline offers cafes, fish and chips, BBQ facilities and coastal walks north to Trigg Beach or south to City Beach. There is the local Scarborough swimming pool also on the coast.
Hillary's Boat Harbour is a 10min drive or 25min bike ride north of us which has AQWA under water world, cafes and specialty shops, a great days outing.
The bus stop is at the end of our street 100m away and takes 20 mins to get to Perth City, 30mins to Fremantle and 5mins to Karrinyup Shopping Centre, Westfield which has over 300 places to eat, drink shop and play including Myer, David Jones and events cinema.

Beach holiday in our own city.

We were seeking a house close to Scarborough with easy access to local beaches. Our accommodation provided this access and was an inviting space both inside and out to host our family and friends as visitors. Air conditioning and fans worked well which was important over the very hot week.

Great for families

Great little holiday house for families and short stays in the Perth area. Close to beach and shops. Lots of room and includes everything for a holiday. Very friendly welcome from Jason (property owner). My only complaint (nothing to do with property owner or property) is the excessive booking fee on the Stayz website. I personally think it’s too much. Regards,

Perfect for our holiday

It's not often you get to holiday in your own town! With four friends flying in from interstate we booked this apartment so we could all be together for 7 nights and it was just perfect for us. Two couples and two single ladies of mature age, the three bedrooms were great and it is very peaceful too. The spacious living area with the adjoining covered area with barbeque was ideal. The kitchen is very well equipped indeed.

Della and Jason thank you so much for looking after us. We had such a nice time at Alga Beach house with so many good memories of breakfast under your verandah with your home made honey and hot Perth nights with the fans cooling us down! The house is roomy, well maintained and full of family character and comforts - perfect for a young family like ours. The walk to Scarborough beach for sunset and icecream was a favourite with the kids. Thank you once again for everything.

we stayed at Alga Beach House over Christmas/new year 2015. it is a 5 minute walk from the beach, cafes and supermarkets etc which is really great fro the family. the place is airy with lots of light in the living space. well equipped - it felt like home! flexible and easy going owners. thank you so much for a great stay.

Absolutely a must to stay at Alga Beach Hous

This was the first time we stayed in home like this for a holiday and the owners Jason and Dell were the best hosts. They have a beautiful property that makes you feel like you could be in the south of France, it is beautifully decked out, it is really private and spacious, it is only a short stroll to the beach we did not need a car just walked or used public transport and most of all it had everything we needed to have a great holiday. The house was so spacious it accommodated 5 adults and 1 child really comfortably. Thanks so much for such a great stay Jason and Dell

There was everything we needed in the house & the hosts were more than accommodating with our needs. It was lovely& quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the busy esplanade but only a few blocks walk to the beautiful Scarborough beach.
