We have stayed in many Mountain houses and this has been the biggest, and most unusual, which fitted us very comfortably. There were one or two issues which were promptly attended to, as always, by Rob.

Two night mountain stay

The property overall was lovely. Very eclectic. Some older parts and some newer sections with big living rooms, modern kitchen, good beds and bedding, beautiful big garden, 6 big bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Excellent property for a large group of people. However, there were some minor matters that should have been rectified considering the price of the property. While any one if these would not be a problem, they detracted from the value of this wonderful property. Unsecured pavers on the stairs from the carport to the deck, outdoor dining table broken on one end, floorboards near the stairs needing repair, power points that did not work, a shower screen and mirror in the master bedroom that were old and marked, one air conditioner wouldn't work, a blind that couldn't be rolled up after being fully extended to the floor by a guest before we arrived, an unsightly crack in the master bathroom and the front door deadlock that needed repair. As stated overall the property is great and really suited our family of ten who all needed to get ready at he same time to go to a wedding but if these faults were attended to the property would rate as excellent.

This house has so many bedrooms with en-suites it’s more like a small private hotel which I suspect it was at one time. Great for a large group or if people want the convenience of their own bathroom. Good kitchen and lounge room.

Family getaway for 3 generations

From first enquiry, everything was a smooth & easy process. Owners were prepared to amend booking if COVID restrictions returned but thankfully we were able to enjoy our mini weekend getaway. The early check in made things so much easier for all of us travelling long distance to unpack on arrival before we explored the local attractions. Thanks to the rainy weather, we were indoors more than planned but 10 of us stayed (3 generations ages ranging from 5-79)) and the place offered spaces for relaxing as well as card games around the large family dining table. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Family Holiday

Four generations made use of this lovely old home with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms on the long weekend in June. With several living areas, a large dining room and kitchen, there was sufficient space for everyone. The children enjoyed the grounds, while the adults had TV, music, chess, an incredible library and all the comforts of home. I so wish we could do this every weekend.

Works needed

Hi guys the house need some maintenance, just little thing like blocked drains in bathroom sinks and doors the do not close properly and are jamming when closed . Auto light on decking area will not stay on for more than 1 min at a time and is annoying when cooking on bbq Kitchen knife are blunt and nothing to sharpen them ( had to buy a stone ) Over all the house is fine but just needs a good going over as what we paid it’s a bit disappointing Cheers Rod

Enough room for all our ladies and a very good response from the property manager or owner Re our needs the tv should be in the larger lounge area and the tv in the study is not in a good position that one could be moved The cleaner that was sent on our request did an excellent job changing all the linen and hand towels. Lots of the crockery is chipped and should be replaced but overall a good stay

Well maintained house with convenient location

Although the house is very old, it is well maintained. It will be ideal if the cook top and oven can be replaced with a new one. Will appreciate if the owner can provide chopsticks and rice bowls.

Spacious house full of charm and character that is also very well equipped. Close to Leura mall, very convienient. Many interesting books, nice rooms for reading and playing chess. Very cool!
