Located in a fully renovated circa 1888 building in the heart of historic downtown Frankfort. This ground floor studio apartment suite with high ceilings in the bedroom. The suite retains its historic charm, yet is fully furnished with updated finishes and full separate kitchen. The suite comes with a refrigerator, microwave, oven/range, dishwasher, coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, washer & dryer onsite, central heat & A/C, luxury hotel bath towels and linens, and memory foam mattress. Sleeps two.
The historic property originally housed the Greenwood Female Seminary established circa 1844 by Mrs. Mary T. Runyan. Mrs. Runyan sold the property to T.J. Congleton Brothers and the current two-story frame structure was constructed in the late 1880’s.
Enjoy an evening cocktail on your private porch, while smelling bourbon being made just blocks away at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Ample on street parking is close by or dedicated parking space on adjacent property. Bourbon themed artwork displayed though out the suite.

Rene’ and Leslie True are life long residents of Central Kentucky and live only minutes away from the vacation suite. The couple has been married for over 20 years and they have three children. Both are retired from Kentucky state government. The couple both now stay busy with second careers in real estate related businesses, including three vacation rentals.
Why they chose this property
The apartment is within 2-3 blocks of several restaurants and bars. Restaurants in Downtown Frankfort include: Bourbon on Main, Goodwood Brewery, Main Street Diner, Serfini, Mi Fiesta, Brown Barrel, Mortimer Bibb, Brick Alley, Howser Tavern, Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe, and Sub Pub. Locals Food Hub & Pizza Pub and Limewater are both a short 15 minute walk from downtown area. Two coffee houses downtown are the Engine House and Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe. B's Bakery is in downtown with Poppy's Bakery a 15 minute walk. Sig Luscher Brewery is about 100 yards from the apartment. Several other bars and brew pubs are located downtown with The Cooperage Bar, POURter's, House of Commons: A Bourbon Library, Blind Harry's, Dicey Riley's Irish Pub, Capital Cellars Bar & Liquor Store, the aforementioned restaurants and others.
