About this property

Beautiful, Charming, Historic Riverfront and Wrightsville Beach!

As we find ourselves in challenging times, trying to get back to some kind of normal, we want to assure our guests that we are making every possible effort to ensure their comfort and safety when they stay at one of our properties. We want you to know that we use a professional cleaning service that strictly follows the most state-of-the-art procedures when it comes to disinfection. The disinfectant that they use is EPA registered and CDC approved. Their teams are trained to comply with OSHA standards and have completed a Covid-19 awareness certification course. The health and safety of our guests is their greatest priority.

Additionally, we have keyless entry keypad locks so you can self check-in.

Great WIFI especially important for everyone's Zoom Meetings!!

In addition to being crazy clean… our property is also gorgeous and comfortable! The house was remodeled completely in 2016 and because of Hurricane Florence, was remodeled again in 2018! During that remodel, we updated the 2nd bathroom to include a beautiful, subway tiled, walk-in shower with frameless double glass doors, a new marble backsplash in the kitchen and added wonderful deep seat wicker furniture to our deck, to which we’ve just added gorgeous new cushions! We’ve also added new mattresses throughout the home and now have queens in both the master and 2nd bedroom, twin beds in the 3rd bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, easily accommodating 8 guests… or more with the inflatable mattresses that we’ve added.
Our split bedroom design is perfect for providing privacy as the master bedroom is at the opposite end of the house from the other two bedrooms.

Our beautiful, bright eat-in kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel right at home…Keurig and Mr. Coffee coffee makers, a stand mixer, electric griddle, crockpot, toaster, electric kettle and more!! We have a 49 inch smart TV, Roku to stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. and an antenna which gives you all the major networks, a BlueRay player and hundreds of DVD’s

Lastly, but probably the most important to many people is our location…it just can’t be beat for convenience… just about 2 miles to Historic Downtown Wilmington and the bustling nightlife of the riverfront and about 6 miles to the sandy white beaches of beautiful Wrightsville Beach. We’re also just a five minute drive to Wilmington International Airport.

Wilmington

Beth is an excellent host and a great communicator. The house was perfect for a post surgery recovery for my daughter who is a UNCW student. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed my wife and I to cook for my daughter. Would definitely recommend this rental!

My New Go-To Wilmington VRBO

We loved our stay at this cozy, beachy-vibed ranch. The location for us was perfection - so close to our family and just a quick ride to downtown. The owner Beth was so lovely and (conveniently) lives right next store! She popped right over to deal with a question we had which was so helpful. Will definitley be back for a visit in the future.

Charming and wonderful

This charming home was a pleasure to stay in. The home was well-stocked with many amenities and the outdoor space was a beautiful perk. The block is quiet and peaceful and it’s close to a variety of stores. We enjoyed the sun-filled rooms and all the cozy spaces. The host was very attentive and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Charming get-away

Perfect In Every Way

Great communication from/with owners after making the reservation through the end of our stay. House very well appointed, super clean, and a great layout for families with the split bedroom plan. Very nice touches throughout the house, all geared to making their guests feel welcome and have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great location to take advantage of all that Wilmington has to offer. This property was quaint and comfortable - really homey! It was also located just off of Market St, which is a main thoroughfare to anyplace you may want to go in Wilmington. The hostess is great! I had a question and she responded immediately!

Comfortable and inviting!

The house was very nice and had all the necessities for a quick wedding weekend in Wilmington. We had 2 young children and 4 adults with plenty of room for all! Just FYI, baths are shower only, so bathing little ones might need some thought. Not a problem though. Check in was smooth and host was in touch and available. Nice neighborhood for walks with sidewalks on most streets. Short drive to downtown/riverwalk. Backyard for kids and porch area with seating to enjoy outdoors!

Perfect Little house

We were down in Wilmington for our oldest daughter's wedding. This house was the perfect location. It was no more that 5 to 10 minutes from almost everything. It was so clean and tidy. The amenities were great. Beth was so great she ever reached out once or twice through our stay to check on us to see if we needed anything. We had friends come to the wedding and meet us for a few drinks at the house and they even noted how great it was

Beautiful place

The home was very clean, comfortable and cozy. It was close to the stores, beaches and the River Walk. The owner is very nice. We had an issue getting into the house. When I called her she was over in about 2 minutes. We would stay here again. I would definitely recommend it.

Relaxing Escape

We had such a wonderful, peaceful escape at Beth's home. I stayed with my husband and 2 year old son and we enjoyed easy proximity to the downtown riverfront and the beach, plus it was an easy drive to stores and restaurants to stock up on whatever we needed. My family and I have stayed here 3 times over the years. We love it!! The house is adorable and very well kept. The decor is so cute and it’s at a very convenient location. This is a gem located in one of the most charming neighborhoods in Wilmington. A great house with perfect interiors that you quickly relax into (it felt like our personal home away from home). There’s a large backyard (great for the pups!) and a relaxing deck with comfy furniture out back too. We loved being able to cook in the well appointed kitchen or take a short drive to so many terrific restaurants nearby - Thai, Italian, French! We ate and slept very well. We’ll be back!

I am a native of Wilmington, I love this city and I cannot imagine living anywhere else! My husband and I bought the house 6 months after we got married almost 29 years ago. We moved when our children were little to a larger house, but I will always love that first home of ours so when the opportunity arose to remodel it and get to decorate it I jumped in with both feet! My husband and I and our kids have all worked together to make the house a wonderful place for guests. I have always wanted to own a B&B so I am thrilled to be able to make my dream a reality.

Why they chose this property

I used to ride through this neighborhood as a child and look at the beautiful homes and gorgeous yards and I'd say I'm going to live here one day and sure enough not only have I lived in one house, but now we live in another house in this same neighborhood! I can truly say there is no where in Wilmington that I'd rather live.

What makes this property unique

I loved this house from the moment that I walked in it. It was like I already felt at home there. It's always been such a cozy, inviting home and with the remodeling that we have done it's even better, brighter, more airy, but still cozy. Everything is new... we've opened up some walls and reconfigured the layout so that we now have a split design with the master bedroom on one side of the house and the other bedrooms on the other, with the living room, kitchen and dining area in between, which I really love. And the deck is everyone's happy place... comfortable furnishings and enough trees and shrubs to provide just the right amount of seclusion.
