Beautiful views! The property was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The price was reasonable and we had a lovely winter stay (the sun was shining both days) I have trouble on stairs, so I struggled a bit with a couple of steps at the side of the property, but that wouldn't stop me from staying there again. My young granddaugher loved spotting the kangaroos, Thankyou Bec

All the best Linda.

Older inside than it looks, bathroom quite dated, mattress dips and quite a few old wooden stairs. Location and view excellent especially for waterfront walks, birdwatching and fishing.
The house is well situated to take advantage of the winter sun that streams through the windows for most of the day. Thankfully it did for the time we were there. For the rest of the time, the heater was quite effective. The bed was relatively comfortable but could do with an upgrade - a little too soft. The outlook is always interesting.

Hi Susan,
I am very sorry for some reason your rating went through incorrectly and as it has gone through officially on the site my endeavours with VRBO to change all stars to perfect guests (5 star) were not successful.
Thank you for staying and please accept our apologies. You were terrific guests and a pleasure to desl with.
Kind Regards
Rebecca
As advertised, it is a "very basic house" but convenient and is in a nice location. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing!!. The DVD player didn't work and I really hope the host will fix this soon. No WiFi in the property and poor reception in the area to use your own internet if needed. Overall it was good

Ideal location. Amazing views. Lots of Wildlife
The property has everything we needed for our holiday, including all sorts of kitchens utensils. Facing Lake Victoria, the location is ideal with amazing views any time of the day, but especially in the morning and the evening. The presence of Blacks Swans giving constant life and movement to the lake. Lake Victoria is perfect for water activities but since our stay was short, we concentrated on taking lots of walks. The area is perfect location for runs and long walks. The place is also perfect for children with a lovely Children's Park across from the property, and the wildlife is quite something. Kangaroos, including mums with joeys, practically encircled the property in the early morning and in the late afternoon giving absolute joy to a seven year old visitor from France, and also giving the gown-ups loads of opportunities to take photographs. The Lakes National Park, a short drive from the house (you could also walk to it), is also absolutely great for enjoying the marvellous Australian bush and seeing more wildlife (kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas etc.etc.) in their very own environment. We would highly recommend the property and Loch Sport, in general, for a great holiday.

Rafaela was great at communicating right from the get go. They were very respectful, honest and left our home very clean. Perfect guests!
The home was perfect for just myself and the weather was gorgeous
The house was clean and everything was perfect. The host was great and informative and I was allowed a late check out and was able to enjoy a beautiful morning on the balcony looking over the lake relaxing before heading home. I’ll definitely be back.
We enjoyed our weekend at Lakeside, Loch Sport. The house is described as "basic" but that's a modest description. It is well furnished, inside and outside, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a nice location away from the main drag but close to golf and various eating option.
We dined at the Bowls lub, a 5 minte walk away, and that would be one of the best "Club" meals we have had in recent times.
Some renovations seem to have been done in response to earlier criticisms, including a new large TV, and air conditioner which look quite new. And we had no trouble with the hot water system.
We would consider returning to Lakeside one day.
