Scenic Hwy. 30-A is known for its intimate charming restaurants, and unique shops all along this stretch of gorgeous untainted beach.

Blue Mountain Beach is the highest elevated point along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. It inherited it’s name from the early Spanish Conquistadors who caught a glimpse of the native blue lupine flowers high on the horizon. Outdoor enthusiasts will take delight in hiking through the pine groves of Point Washington State Forest or biking along the Timpoochee Trail. Beachgoers will revel in the sand and enjoy some of the most wide open beaches in all of South Walton.
