Our experience at the cabin was great! Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. Our host, Kathleen, was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is very cute, and the location is so private and quiet -- it's just what we wanted. We will be back!

Thanks so much for being perfect guests. We hope to see you again.
Kat’s Kabin was a great place to watch the Geminid meteor shower. The dark skies are wonderful. It was so quiet. We could hear the owls & coyotes at night. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to come back.

Thank you for being great guests. We look forward to hosting you again.
We absolutely loved it here! Enjoyed watching the deer and birds eat breakfast, the sheer darkness of the great outdoors and nature! Close enough to garner state park and lost maples that we did both on our short stay! The boys loved exploring outdoors and we can’t wait to come back!

Our host, Kat and her husband, Butch were wonderful! Kat was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabin was wonderful - very clean and a great place to relax, see wildlife from the porches, and look at the beautiful starry nights. Can’t recommend Kat and her cabin high enough - definitely a 10 out of 10!!

This is beautiful property. We loved our morning coffee with birds and deer on the patio. The unit was very comfortable and well kept.
what a delightful cabin. Charming and comfortable decor. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating of some last minute issues on our part. A perfect get away with so many amenities nearby. The Laurel Tree restaurant? Lost Maples State Park, and more. The scent of the breeze blowing through the beds of Rosemary surrounding the cabin are reason enough to visit all alone.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review!! We are grateful for your words and your visit!! Hope to have you back soon for a ranch tour.
We had a wonderful time staying at The Secluded Cabin on 4th of July weekend. The weather unfortunately didn’t cooperate but that didn’t ruin our trip! Kat gave us wonderful suggestions of things to go around the area. The cabin was clean, had all the things we needed to bbq and provided some wonderful relaxation!
Had a great stay really enjoyed having coffee on the front porch watching the sun come up with the birds, squirrels and rabbits all going about there morning routine.

About the host
Hosted by Kathleen Lewis
Kat is the third of four sisters (shown in blue shirt). She and husband Butch built Kat's Kabin in 2016 on their part of Four Sisters Ranch. Kat is a retired school teacher and Butch is a retired Arson Investigator.
Why they chose this property
We were looking for something to do during our retirement. Having had such wonderful people come out to enjoy our first cabin, Four Sisters Ranch Cabin, we decided to build a second one on our plot of land.
What makes this property unique
What's unique? Seclusion, privacy and no light pollution. Birds and abundant wildlife. This is a place to get away from the hectic life in the city to immerse yourself in nature. Since we are close to three State parks our location is convenient to all of them.. If you are looking for a lot of activity, a restaurant and store around the corner, our place would not be a good fit for you. If you want to get away, sit on the back porch or by the fire pit to relax, you have found your spot!
