THE SPACE

You won't believe your luck as you make the turn up the long graceful driveway to this gorgeous manor house. Built in 1986 with the look of an Edwardian Mansion. This house is filled with old and new furnishings, 19th century antiques combined with 21st century comfort, make the living space both quaint and luxurious. Perfect for a family gathering, reunion of friends or a business retreat.

There are unique spaces in house including an authentic turret room with an assortment of board games and cards. Off the master bedroom is an all seasons room with a comfy couch, great for reading or just relaxing.

The lower level is a walkout rec-room with an air hockey table.

This residence is professionally serviced with no personal items of the owners to get in your way, yet well appointed and fully fitted to make your stay comfortable and cozy. Your home away from home.

There are 8 beds: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 standard double beds, 2 standard futon beds, and 2 twin beds. In addition I have 4 twin air mattresses that are available upon request.

GUEST ACCESS

The entire house is yours to use as you wish. There are 2 storage closets and 2 utility closets in the house which are locked at all times.

GUEST INTERACTION

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

/!\ THE CELL PHONE SIGNAL IN THE AREA IS NOT GOOD, DEPENDING ON YOUR CARRIER YOU MAY EXPERIENCE ISSUES WITH CONNECTIVITY. THERE IS A LAND LINE AT THE HOUSE YOU CAN USE FOR CALLS WITHIN THE USA.

Please note that there are 8 beds and 4 twin sized air mattresses in the house. However you must let me know ahead of time that you will need the air mattresses otherwise they are in storage.
Children's books and toys are available upon request.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The house is located in a rural area, and because of the dense foliage neighbors are not visible in the summer and only barely noticeable in the winter. You are welcome to enjoy the 12 acres but please respect the property boundaries and do not wander on to the neighbors land. Wildlife abounds, deer, sandhill cranes, owls, hawks, wild turkeys, and a plethora of song birds. Please enjoy the view but do not disturb them. Hunting is not allowed on this property.

Excellent jewel - Tudor Estate
Very, cozy, comfortable, intimate space, yet large enough for alone time. The grounds were beautiful, rooms were comfortable, property manager and local contact were all on the spot and attentive to our every need,

Great property for reunion!!
Absolutely Beautiful property. The house is in great shape with updated kitchen and bathrooms. We had everything we needed and it is very well stocked with essentials like towels and kitchen equipment. One recommendation for the owner is to get a keurig. The coffee machine worked but it was a bit cumbersome to use and slow. Highly recommend and our group gives it 5 stars!

Just what we needed!
We needed a large house near campus to accommodate a group of friends and their families, and this worked out perfectly! We had plenty of space, the house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, just how it looked in the pictures. We will definitely book with them again!

Room for all
We had a pleasant time at the property and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and quiet area. There is plenty of space indoors and out for a large family or group of friends and plenty of sleeping options. The nephews enjoyed the air hockey table. The kitchen looks recently remodeled but most other spaces are not. We had only minor inconveniences that we could easily work around but not a 5-star property as it is in need of some care and updating. Upon calling to check in we were notified the deck was going to be repaired soon and it definitely needs it. It seemed generally safe but my dad did notice some loose railing (likewise in one indoor staircase). There were only a handful of clothes hangars in the entire house and I would expect more in a "luxury" property. There were towels missing in some bathrooms so we had to hunt them down from other rooms. Also, many of the pots and pans could use a real scrub as the stainless steel is nearly black on some. The kitchen is well supplied with everything needed but we did have trouble with one stove burner not lighting. The entry way and deck could have used a good sweeping. The BBQ grill is charcoal so come prepared if you want to grill out and all the outdoor furniture you will need to move yourself from the garage to the deck. There was a large downstairs window which had obviously been broken and repaired yet the glass was still in a pile on the ground. Be prepared to schlep the large trash container to the road (and it's a long driveway). Again, a nice stay and all things we were easily able to work around but I wouldn't consider it "luxury" aside from the generous size and nice grounds.
