We had an incredible stay with our group (two families of four with young children). The house was exceptionally well-equipped, and the layout gave everyone plenty of space and comfort. The outdoor area—especially the pool and surrounding property—is truly spectacular! Its location is also fantastic for getting around. Communication with the host was seamless from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this property to families and groups looking for a great getaway.
We had a great stay at this property - everything was as advertised, and the outdoor pool/kitchen area exceeded expectations. The house was clean and well equipped for a group that wants to cook. The location is great for a relaxing weekend, easy walk to the beach and quick drive to the nearby vineyards, restaurants and farm stands. Would love to come back!
The outside of this house is an oasis! We shared this house with another family and it was great!! We had 4 kids between 5-8 years old and they had a blast with the pool, game room and outdoor lounge/TV area. All of these amenities were fun for the adults too! We spent much more time at the house then expected because of the pool.House was as described, and very clean with plenty of rooms to sleep in. We really liked the open kitchen/living room as it allowed us to eat or play games while the kids watched tv.Long driveway was also good for some bike riding/scooting for the kids.We had a great stay and Helen was always responsive to answer our questions.Close to the vineyards, Brewery and food which is a major plus!
This property was amazing! The host was accommodating of my advance requests and very responsive. The location is great and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway!
Amazing property and amenities of the pool, floats, game room and outdoor seating areas. Close to everything nearby. Looking forward to visiting again!
The house was new, clean and perfect location. Loved All the outdoor amenities (pool, kitchen, trampoline). Had no issues during our stay and would definitely stay again!
Really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful home with amazing amenities including an incredible pool and outdoor patio and kitchen. Owner was very communicative and thorough. Highly recommend as a perfect getaway right in the heart of the north fork wineries!
This home by far exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for 5 days 4 nights. It was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend! Even more beautiful in person!
This house was gorgeous, in a great location, close to vineyards and good restaurants. I booked this for a girls weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. The pool area is stunning, the owner was easy to get in touch with, awesome game room in basement and lots of beds so no one had to share. Cannot recommend this house enough!
This property was lovely! Super clean modern and beautiful! It was close to great wineries super markets and restaurants. The host was extremely attentive! We spent most of our time in the pavilion which was perfect to grill out and chill. We will be back!!Thank you!!!!
The property is impecable, super clean and everything is very new. Very quiet area also. Really loved the place. My kids had an amazing time playing in the outdoor field and inside with the air hockey table. The beach is just 10 min walk.

Your family was a pleasure to rent to, invited back anytime to rent again. Treated the house like your own!
Beautiful property better than listed..owner very accessible and quick to respond. The outdoor pavilion with kitchen and tv made use of pool and cooking/entertaining fun when watching soccer and baseball games. Does tend to be buggy at night but nothing that bites and can’t be managed.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
The property itself was beautiful. The yard and pool area were very well done, and the outdoor space had a lot of potential. The outside fire place did not work. The house was nice, although smaller than expected, especially since we were not allowed access to the entire house. This was the first VRBO we’ve stayed in where part of the home was off-limits. Upstairs would be at 73 and downstairs would feel like it was 60 so if there were zones, we weren’t aware of them. There was also a hot tub on the property that guests could not use. To be fair, it was not included in the listing, But, why? The biggest issue was the overall atmosphere. Communication with the owner felt very cold and unwelcoming. Any time we asked a simple question, we were repeatedly directed back to the “house rules.” The problem was that many of the answers were not actually in the rules. It became an ongoing joke in our group because every response was “it’s in the house rules,” even when it wasn’t.The rules themselves were excessive — nine pages of legal-style wording for a short vacation stay. Most guests are not going to spend their trip reading through pages of policies. A simpler, clearer approach would make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone. We travel often and have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years. This was the first time we felt more like a burden than welcomed guests, especially considering the price of the rental.

Hi Laurie,
Thank you so much for your review. I think reviews are really important to other renters so I think it would be important to respond back here.
1) When you rent, I send over house rules and ask that you read them because 99% of the questions any guest would have is in there. You confirmed that not only you read the entire rules but also stated everyone in your party read through them.
2) you actually asked me two questions via text…that was it. First question was about the WiFi password. I manage several properties and the password is in the house rules. You received not only an electronic copy but a hard copy is left on premises. I would think if your entire party read them they would have seen it there - so I responded back the password was in the house rules.
2) second text asked me if you could use the outdoor fireplace to which I responded of course. At no point did you mention there was any issue with it not working. In fact, I turned it on the following weekend to use, so unsure what the problem was since this is actually the first time I’m hearing this.
The only other text I got from you was one to scold me on not having a Keurig machine, which I responded that there is in fact a Keurig in addition to the Nespresso on premises.
As a host, I take great pride in assuring that my guests have exactly what was represented to them, and in turn, I expect to have guests that are true to what they represent.
Unfortunately, for any other hosts reading this, I’d have to say that you were not as you represented yourself. You were not very friendly yourself and you don’t seem to accept when you are in the wrong.
For future reference, if you feel there is any issue at all, you should be more direct and open with the owner in order to allow them to rectify the situation - not wait to air your grievances after the fact.
This was our second time staying here for our annual girls weekend. The owner is very responsive and keeps the house in tip top shape.
When we were here last year most of the landscaping was pretty new. It has filled in nicely, and you feel like you are in an outdoor oasis.
This home was even better than the description posted on line! Helen, the host was extremely accessible and so pleasant to deal with!! Helen’s home had everything anyone needs or wants in a rental property! It’s just beautiful and look forward to renting again!!!
The property is absolutely immaculate and the house is very well stocked with everything you need for vacation - nice towels, beach towels, kitchen supplies, indoor and outdoor dishes, etc. The layout is nice with two bedrooms upstairs and two down. The downstairs game room is a nice bonus for families with kids.
The outdoor pool and lounge area is beautiful and spacious with several areas for lounging, dining areas, fireplace, etc. The one thing to note is that it was not clear to us in the house rules that you have to elect to turn on heat to the pool in order for the hot tub to be heated, so I would recommend choosing that option. Some added bonuses were the baby bunnies we saw hopping around and the abundance of lavender around the pool that smelled amazing.
The property is on a very large lot with a large lawn, and is very private (it is fenced) and quiet. It is just a short walk from a beautiful bay beach and a park. We also loved that it was situated centrally in NoFo for access to restaurants, stores and wineries. If you need transportation, I highly recommend setting that up before the stay as uber and lyft are somewhat limited. Classy Cab was a lifesaver for us.
Communications with Helen were prompt and she is very well organized in setting up the stay. Overall, a really wonderful stay for our girl's weekend trip.
