Ground Floor 2BR 2BA, Pet Friendly & Steps from the Beach!

Come ready to relax and be at home in this downstairs unit at the Waves, an eight-condo complex with charming porches and a tropically landscaped pool area. Beach access with public shower and bath is a short walk across Gulf Blvd. After your day at the beach, return to the comfort of two bedrooms and two baths with nine-foot ceilings and tile throughout. The well-stocked, fully equipped kitchen has modern granite counters and stainless steel appliances and is set up for your first cup of morning coffee.

Sleeps six with a king sized bed in the master, queen bed in the second bedroom, and queen fold out couch in the living room. The master features a large walk in closet and private shower; second bath with full-sized tub is in the hallway.

This rental is well maintained and offers a clean, modern aesthetic. WiFi, Cable, and washer/dryer are provided. Large TV in living area and smaller TV in master. A sparkling shared pool is the perfect way to end the day. Two barbecue grills in the pool area available first come, first serve.

Two reserved tandem parking spaces!

Feel free to bring your dog and be prepared to relax while you set your watch to “beach time.”

Rent this place! It’s right by the beach, safe, clean, and the owner has chairs, umbrellas, a cooler-everything you need for the beach other than towels. I would stay here every chance I get.

Overall, best location spot for this condo! With a very short distance to the beach area and made it so convenient for myself and my guests, they loved it! Condo clean and tidy and we all slept very comfortably thru out the entire wk stay. Our last visit to south padre was 25-30 yrs ago. This visit was wonderful! The island very clean, water cool & clean ; quite very relaxing under the sun .

This home is cozy, nice and well equipped for whatever you need. Close walk to the beach and great food at Padre Island Brewing Company. Owners allowed our two dogs to stay and that was much appreciated. Beds were comfortable. Would love to stay again in the future!

The location was excellent - just across the street from the access to the beach. The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The keypad was not working so we used the manual key. The ice maker on the refrigerator was not working. The pool was relaxing. The neighbors across our unit were playing loud music the first night, and the aroma of pot was noticed every night of our stay from the neighbors across our unit.

I live in Austin, but I grew up close to South Padre Island. I LOVE being able to return, see my family and be at the beach. It's fun to host and share our condo.

Why they chose this property

I was looking for a newer condo with better construction than many of the condos I stayed in that were constructed in the 1970s and 1980s. It was constructed in 2006. The pool, very close access to the beach, and the intimate porches with lots of greenery and flowers made me feel this was the perfect place for our family.

What makes this property unique

Small dogs are allowed. High ceilings makes it feel even bigger than it is. Two reserved parking spaces.
