Our completely renovated Queenslander Home epitomises beach side living in the tropics.

The design of Beach Pavilion invites, with connecting pavilion walkways, large sliding doors, louver windows and high ceilings to embrace our beach lifestyle, "where the Hamptons meet's Australian Beach" styling.

The living and lounge pavilion, opens out to views at each end maximising the natural flow of air. This pavilion also contains the fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasting striking stone bench tops, breakfast bar, modern appliances and also lends to an elegant dining suite perfect for entertaining large groups.

Formal lounging with smart TV area that opens out to an undercover entertainment area with outdoor dining, built in BBQ and outdoor bar fridge for your pleasure, all overlooking the stunning in-ground pool which is surrounded by tropical gardens complete with a sun lounge deck.

Each bedroom designed with luxurious comfort and views in mind. The night lighted backyard tropical rainforest view is an added delight not to mention a one minute walk to the famous Four Mile Beach!

Perfect family stay

We had the best stay here, highly recommend this property. We had our family of five, both sets of grandparents and one extra adult. The space provides a lot of room to hang together or little nooks for some quiet time. Sharon and Lisa were an absolute pleasure to chat with, from booking to checkout. Can’t fault this place. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Beach Pavilions. It is bright and white and welcoming. The layout and design worked perfectly for our three generation family stay. The heated pool and deck area was a real treat. The hosts were extremely responsive and our communication with them was excellent. The house is situated in a quiet residential area, near to a children’s Playground and with easy access to the beach. There were very pleasant cafes nearby to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay and certainly hope to return with our family one day.

A corner of paradise

We were three generations of one family bought together to escape daily life and a southern winter in the tropics. It didn’t matter that it was cloudy and drizzly sometimes throughout our stay because the house was able to provide us with a big,warm pool for the kids and all the comforts for the adults. We highly recommend the Beaches Pavillions.

Excellent location and spacious accommodation. Cleanliness and maintenance could be inproved, in particular the bbq was quite dirty. The lock on the pool gate needs to be fixed as it doesnt lock automatically on closing, which was concerning for us as we had our kids with us. Kitchen utensils and cookware could be upgraded.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. We all enjoyed the pool and the proximity to 4 Mile Beach. The layout worked well for our multi-generational group. We loved our recent stay at Beach Pavillions- the house suited our family group perfectly. The main pavilion that opens up to the pool area was brilliant, space for everyone to chill out. Seperate bedroom pavillions worked perfectly and it was so nice to have multiple bathrooms. Short walk to the beach and a few minutes drive to all the cafes and shops of Port Douglas. Spotlessly clean and excellent communication made our stay super easy .

As soon as you enter the property you get that resort like feel with the light and bright open plan living flowing into the generous outdoor bbq and pool area. The home is very spacious, clean and easily accommodated our group of 10. Walking distance to the local beach with a short shuttle ride available into Port Douglas township. Highly recommend!

Your own private resort!

It’s like having your own private resort. Generous sized bedrooms. Separate sleeping quarters and granny flat from the house allows for a retreat from the main living areas. An added bonus, nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom with four bathrooms and five toilets in total - very beneficial for a large group. If considering booking during summer, keep in mind the living area is not air-conditioned and the pool is not covered. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas getaway.

Sensational Home

Terrific modern home with the ideal layout for family to gather. We were four individual families coming together to spend Christmas and it couldn’t have been better for us. Plenty of rooms and associated bathrooms all seperate from the communal area. The beautiful pool, availability of all you could need within the home, coupled with a lovely quiet location and close proximity to a playground and the beach resulted in us having the perfect time away!!

The house suited our 8 adults and 2 children very well. Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was a good size for a group swim and the ledge around the edge was perfect for our 2 year old. The kitchen was great for group cooking. The facilities supplied were great. Useful additions would be a vacuum cleaner and more baking pans eg lasagne dishes to suit a group.

Escape from Winter in Melbourne

Our party consisted of 2 grand parents, 4 parents, 2 children & 2 infants. The property was able to cater for the needs of everyone. The 4 mile beach was only 200 metres away & was the perfect way to start every morning.The pool was used extensively by the 2 older children.I thoroughly recommend Beach Pavilions to families wishing to spend time together.

Why they chose this property

We holidayed in Port Douglas every year, & fell inlove with the area - the weather is summer year round, surrounded by Reef and Rainforest , it really is nature's playground. The town is just the right size for us, not too big and not too small - just right! It is a very special tropical location, with SO much to see and do.
Beach Pavilions is so close to the beach, 177 steps to the sand of Four Mile Beach and a cute shady playground by the beach for our little VIP's.
Secluded quiet area, but only one block behind Port Douglas Rd where you can catch a shutlle bus into town day and night.
Very spacious home and perfect for big families or a 3 generation family holiday, where everyone needs some space and privacy but also a grand area to come together.

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous Old Queenslander beach house,we renovated sympathetically to keep the beautiful old timber and tropical architecture of pavilion style living. Today it has all the mod cons but still retains its old charm. Everyone falls inlove with Beach Pavilions and we hope you do also!
