Spectacular views of the Grampians and pristine farmland with 2700 sheep
About Karen Noske
We welcome all travellers looking for an awesome place to stay. We are a farming family of 2 parents and 2 young adults, one working on the farm and the other working in the nearby village. We have been hosting Australian and International travellers since May 2011. We love to share our property with travellers.
Karen Noske purchased this Mill in 1956
Why Karen Noske chose Moutajup
This unique building was built in the 1920's and has a great story. Be part of the current story with the many other guests who have stayed over the past 5 years. Our farm is called "Grasfeld" and has been owned by this family since 1956. It currently has 850 acres for 2700 merino sheep to graze as they produce quality wool for the world. Located 50 metres from the main Homestead is the famous GRAMPIANS HISTORIC TOBACCO KILN. Renovated in 2013, this is the perfect place for couples and families to come and stay whilst exploring the Grampians or just travelling through.
What makes this Mill unique
this is an ideal place to stay whilst exploring the Grampians National Park. Lots of people stay here on their way from the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians or Melbourne to Adelaide. The tobacco kiln is unique to the area and has been lovingly renovated into very comfortable accommodation which has been open for 6 years and is occupied most of the time. So don't miss out on this wonderful accommodation. Book now to avoid disappointment !

Peaceful and Friendly
Taking a short break on the way home from family Christmas, we found a quiet comfortable space with friendly people and dogs. The unique historical building, country-home touches and sensational eastern view were simply a bonus!
Had a great time. Lovely host. Very comfortable.
A perfectly unique stay!!
Loads of character in a beautiful setting. Owners were very accommodating to our requirements
Great value for money
we were in need of last minute accomodation for a stop over on the way to Melbourne. found this little gem. Host was great, daughter really enjoyed tour of farm. Pity we didn't get the best weather to make the most of the table under the beautiful tree out front. Would definitely use again if coming through this way.
Charming location and welcoming host
We loved the way the owners renovated this old tobacco kiln. It was warm, cozy and comfortable and the high ceiling gave it space. Inside, we had everything we needed. Outside, we were surrounded by farmland and peace. The farm tour was informative and fascinating. A stay to remember!
Authentic farm stay that is close to Mother nature
Neat farmhouse with access to Dunkeld city centre in less than 15 minutes. It is sited in a working farm that comes with a fantastic farm tour for those who stay 2 nights and more. You are given a good background of how a 'real' farm operates by Karen who is a great host. It is a truly refreshing change from staying in a country hotel.
