This modern and contemporary alpine accommodation that can sleep 8 persons has outstanding views to Mt Stirling, Mt Buller and the surrounding alpine countryside.

Featuring open plan living with floor to ceiling windows to take in the magnificent views, this well-appointed home has a full kitchen, dining area and plenty of sofa seating. Bedrooms are all spacious with wardrobes, electric blankets, quality linen and towels – 1 room offers a queen bed & ensuite, another room has a queen bed and the third has two sets of bunks.

Tastefully furnished and decorated, there is a main bathroom plus an additional powder room, a drying cupboard, reverse cycle air-conditioning, a flat screen television / CD / DVD, sun deck with BBQ, outdoor furniture plus a wood fire to enjoy.

Being so close to Mt Buller & Mt Stirling, Stirling View is perfect for a snow holiday or summer visit. Watch the amazing wildlife - kangaroo and deer graze in the garden, enjoy the colorful birdlife, take a bush walk, go cycling or just relax

Weekend full of wildlife

A fantastic house in a breathtaking location. We stayed for a long weekend, with friends, and there was plenty of room for 2 families to hang out and relax. The house itself was very well maintained and provisioned, and the views were just incredible. We booked this property due to the views and the promise of local wildlife and were not disappointed. Kangaroos right up to the deck, deer in the distance, and a flock of friendly parrots kept us company. Wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Lovely view, enjoyable stay.

Suited our needs very well; the property was clean and well equipped. The deck needs attention. In particular a lot of nails are now protruding out of the woodwork and need hammering in. Caused some discomfort to little ones.

Loved our Easter getaway with friends in Merrijig. House was big enough for our 2 families. We loved spotting the kangaroos and deer. Particularly loved the fire.

Amazing views

The view was amazing. It was very relaxing. Chris was a very good host with a welcoming phone call and when we had issues, they tried their best to attend to them as soon as possible. We welcomed the early check in and late check out so that we could relax even more on our last day. We forgot something at the house and it was kindly express posted back to us thank you again for sharing your beautiful house with us.

Great View!

My family and I stayed in Sterling View, Merrijig and it’s aptly named as we could see Mt Sterling very clearly. Our weekend getaway was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family with well appointed kitchen and great deck area. Unfortunately the bbq ran out of gas but we were able to finish the remainder of the cooking in the kitchen. My kids loved the bunk beds and seeing the Parrots and Cockatoos everyday. The living area is bright and open which showcases the amazing view which was lovely to wake up to every morning. We stayed in Spring but the house is in a perfect location for a Winter getaway with Mt Buller and other mountains in close proximity for skiiing and winter activities. We saw lots of cyclists and walkers around so maybe next time we will bring our bikes and do some biking. We had a great stay.

Nice place to stay while visiting Merrijig

The house was generally pleasant with good views of the surrounding mountains. Location was suitable for local outdoor activities eg hiking, mountain biking. The living area and bed rooms were a reasonable size but wanted a bit of a clean (dust, dead insects, etc) and could do with some maintenance. Overall good.

Lovely stay at the foot of Mt. Buller

Our group was 8 adults, skiing Mt. Buller for the weekend. Stirling View was a lovely spot, gorgeous view and clean and comfortable. Having a fire was awesome - as it was particularly cold when we were there (this also made it beautiful having so much snow outside!). Electric blankets on all beds including the bunks was also greatly appreciated. We did need to pop to the neighbours for some salt as it was the one thing we missed at the supermarket, but they were very kind and happily helped out. Would absolutely stay again. Thanks for sharing such a nice space with the world!

The location of the property is really good. The views are stunning and the accomodation is cozy. There is a lot to explore around. The only area of improvement was TV. It would have been amazing of we could get the TV working. But not a biggie as the house came equipped with so many other things to keep us occupied
