Nestled above our tack shed and horse yards, the Stables Studio features a small kitchenette (for breakfast) with sink, small microwave, bar fridge and simple amenities (no provision for cooking or implements). A comfortable double bed with sumptuous doona, TV and DVD player with an assortment of DVDs available, small desk with chairs and access to a large elevated deck with views across the property, make this little weekend hideaway the perfect haven for a weekend of relaxation. For the more active types, tour local sites including beautiful Lake Macquarie, The Hunter Vineyards, the Central Coasts beaches or Newcastle Cafes and Restaurants.

Accomodation had everything that we required. Beautiful surrounding bush with a nice sunny balcony to have your coffee. Margrete was the perfect host. Toilet and shower were approx 50m from the cabin which may be an issue with people who have disabilities but for able bodied people, I thought it wasn't an issue. We would go back if we were in the area again.

Gary and his wife were very pleasant guests who communicated their plans well, were respectful of our property and animals and lovely to chat with. I'd recommend them to any other hosts. We hope they return again another time. We also have a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom fully accessible farmstay, which is available on Vrbo for anybody, including people living with disabilities.
