Locality

It is meters from one of the best surfing beaches in South Australia. It is walking distance the mouth of the River Murray. There are restaurants and a supermarket located nearby.

Within walking distance of the South Lakes Golf Course and has two other very good golf courses within a short drive. Easy access to Currency Creek, Mclaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wineries.

Goolwa is a very picturesque town with Art and craft shops.

This is an ideal location, practically on the beach it’s so close. The pool table was a big hit too. Goolwa Beach is stunning and watching the sunsets from the balcony was mesmerising.

Outstanding property to stay in

This properties location was 10/10. Absolute beachfront with an AMAZING view. Shops and Main Street a very short distance away. Property has an enormous amount of space together with two balconies, two seperate living areas, games and pool table to keep everyone entertained.Definitely recommend!!!!!!

Relax right by the beach

Had a three family gathering, plenty of space. Pool table was popular. The views are amazing and beds very comfortable. Such a short distance to beach, kids went down every day. Coffee shop right at beach as well.

We really enjoyed our few days at Waves Edge property. House had lots of rooms, all well maintained. So close to the beach, not too far way from cafes and restaurants. Having outdoor chess set and billiard table was fantastic for kids.

Wow...This place was just perfect! As soon as we walked in ,it had such a warm,friendly,inviting feel to it..There was heaps of room for all 12 of us. We loved that it had a kitchen on both floors,that came in really handy..As did the pool table.. Not to mention the 3 bathrooms,which made a huge difference with 12 people in the house!.And the view was just Gorgeous! We could not have wished for a better place to stay as a family, following our Dad's memorial. And finally,We cannot Thank the Host , Rosemary enough, for her kindness & compassion shown for our Family,under the sad circumstances..We would all love to return again one day..And Would definitely recommend it!

Seaside retreat

We enjoyed staying here, with an extended family of nine, there was lots to do. Snooker table and chess sets, or just lounging in the two living rooms. it was very close to the beach and there was also a restaurant 2 mins away.

The house is just behind the Surf Life Saving Club and the 4WD track to the Murray Mouth. In the adjacent car par are a number of charge stations for EVs. There are sweeping views pf the Goolwa coastline from up stairs windows. Spacious, clean, billiards table.

Family birthday

We stayed at Waves Edge with our family for twins 18th. The property is in a great location and has all of the amenities you could need. Kitchen has every appliance you can think of. There is plenty of entertainment for the family and loads of space. Communication with the owner is excellent. Highly recommend this property for any stay.

Goolwa getaway

Perfect location and stunning views. Large sized property with all the amenities. Would have been a star in its day. It is feeling quite worn though; needs a deep clean, lick of paint and some maintenance on the property. Once it's had a bit of maintenance and love I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Thankyou for your comments ,I am having workman arriving on Monday to work on the house. .It has been heavily booked so haven't been able to do any work or spring cleaning . Now have workman available and have crossed the house off ,so without bookings can hopefully make the house a five star property again .

Potentially great (if you don’t mind steep stairs), as views are wonderful, but it’s a bit ‘tired’. Wifi didn’t work, nor did Bluetooth connection so we were unable to play any music. One bathroom without waste bin. Couldn’t locate green or blu/red Sulo bins. No waste separation in kitchen.

Property was not up to standard of cleanliness to the many places we have stayed. We had mice throughout the top floor. We left the property cleaner than when we arrived. Location good.
