We feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy our time in Tahoe at this beautiful Tahoe home! Every amenity was available and the views of the lake were incredible! Can't wait to stay here again!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The home was lovely. Stunning views of the lake and mountains. There were lots of dining and activity options. The owner/contact was informative and gracious. Definitely a 5 start experience.
This house was more like a home than a rental condo. It provided the feeling like staying in my Grandma's house rather than like a sterile, overly modern condominium. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The owner was on top of everything. Quickly responded to all our questions and extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions; we went to every recommended restaurant and loved them all. He also found a charter boat for us before the season opened. I can’t say enough positive things about Paul and his home. The layout of the property was perfect for us, the community was great for walking and the views from the deck were heavenly! We will absolutely choose to stay here again when we are in the area. 5 stars +

Otherwise Great Stay Tainted By Owner After Departure
We booked this stay because it was seemingly managed by Evolve, that turned out to not be the case. Don't be fooled, it is advertised by Evolve but the owner, who is an attorney, (yuck) actually (micro)manages the home. We would not have stayed had we known this upfront and certainly wont return with the departure harassment we received. There were some lightbulbs and a piece of the fridge misplaced but based on the owners reaction it was if we had let a bear inside the house. O yeah, bears, no mention of them in the listing but there is a number of large resident bears in the neighborhood. Not safe for small children. Not enjoyable communication for anyone.

Response from VrboOwner on 4 Jan 2024
From the owner: "Hi Chad, Your comments are disappointing. After you assured us “no worries” because you manage rental houses yourself, you threatened to leave an ugly anonymous review if we charged you for the extra time it took to clean up the major messes that you left in our home and hot tub after two loud nighttime parties with several unauthorized extra people staying in our home. This violated the County short-term rental law and our rental agreement. As did leaving the house unlocked with open windows and uneaten food and garbage in the kitchen, which I expressly said not to do because it posed an open invitation to a Tahoe bear to enter an unoccupied house. Charging you moderately for this extra cleaning was not “micromanaging,” it was holding you accountable for the extra work you imposed upon us."
Beautiful home, great location, perfect for activities and relaxing
There we seven of us - two couples with three teenagers. The house couldn't have been more perfect for us! There are plenty of places to hang out and relax as a group or solo at the house. But, it's also very well located for activities away from the house. Everything is very high quality and in great shape. We loved our stay!
