About this property
Corunna Views - located at Central Tilba
Corunna View is a beautiful cottage nestled in amongst the spotted gums with views over Corunna Lake to the sea. This character filled bush retreat is within minutes of Mystery bay and surrounding beaches and a short drive to the village of Central Tilba. Narooma town ship is to the north and Bermagui to the south.
This airy two story home is perfect for families wanting to experience the beauty of the south coast from a private hideaway. With an abundance of wildlife at your finger tips and views to Mt Gulaga, there are plenty of opportunities for bush walking, fishing, surfing, whale watching, golf, the list is endless….
House layout
This cosy three-bedroom cottage has the appeal of an old farmhouse with the freshness of clean design. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and open plan living and dining downstairs create an easy and great atmosphere for entertaining. Wood and gas BBQ’s and large veranda’s provide extra covered space and pleasant outside dining experiences in the summer months. The slow combustion wood heater is a delight in the colder months and makes for a cosy and warm house within minutes
There are three bedrooms in total, two with queen beds, and the third bedroom is set up for family accommodation, with a queen and two singles. There is a central bathroom, with a nice large bath looking out over surrounding bush. Laundry facilities are available and all pillows and blankets are supplied. We ask however, that you supply your own linen, sheets , towels and pillowslips unless specially requested. Please bear in mind that we do not allow smoking in the house and we ask that you inform the owner if you would like to bring your pets.
What to do here
There is plenty on offer on the far south coast.
If you want to swim, walk or just relax it's a perfect choice.
A mixture of beautiful bay’s and ideal surf and fishing beaches surround Mystery Bay, witch is a 3-4 minute drive from the house. Corunna Lake itself is a popular fishing spot for the astute angler. If you want to launch your boat, there are boat ramps in Narooma, Bermagui and a beach ramp at Mystery Bay itself.A Whale watching or fishing trip to Montague Island is a wonderful day out, well worth a look.
The surrounding areas are becoming very well known now for the boutique wineries and there are many specialty shops, galleries and restaurants in Tilba, Bermagui, Tathra and Merimbula. The historical Tilba village itself has a fabulous pub with glorious views of Gulaga Mountain. On Saturday mornings you can't go past the Tilba Growers Market held in the Big Hall from 8am.. There is a local public swimming pool and movie cinema in Narooma too. Golf enthusiasts have so many beautiful coastal golf courses to choose from –However the closest 2 are Narooma and Bermagui clubs.
You can really escape and find your own privacy at the house, or choose to go into the villages and explore.... it's up to you!
