Pebbles Cottage is a 3 bedroom cottage minutes from the heart of Normanville. The property has a master bedroom with en suite, a second double bedroom and kids bedroom, comfortable open plan living area and undercover outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and outdoor setting. Relax inside and watch the flat screen TV and play Xbox, use the fully appointed kitchen or dine around a 8 seater extendable dining table. If you prefer to be outside there is a fully enclosed lawn area where the kids can play or you can relax in the sun with a good book.

Take a short stroll down to the main street and you have at your fingertips the Normanville Hotel and bottle shop, IGA supermarket, bakery, cafes, wood oven pizza shop and lolly shop. And only a 3-5 minute drive (15-20 min walk) to the beach where there is easy parking and delicious eatery at the surf lifesaving club or beach kiosk and cafe.

Location and Facilities:

Normanville is 5 minutes away from Yankalilla and on the opposite side of the Fleurieu Peninsula to Victor Harbor. It's about an hour drive from Adelaide and is nestled on Lady Bay right on the beach. The beach is pristine with a small jetty ideal for shade on the very hot days and for fishing when the mood takes you.

Normanville is perfectly positioned for visiting local wineries, enjoying a fine dining experience, playing on the beaches, horse-riding, or a short trip to Victor Harbor.

Good location for us as we were visiting an older relative in the area. Easy walk to pub and shops. House had all the basics and was clean and, for the price, comfortable. We appreciated the electric blankets as it was freezing in the front of the house at night. Thank you. We’d book again.

A really lovely, clean and convenient stay. A short drive to the beach and shops. House had everything we needed and more. All rooms a great size, was really clean and had a nice feel to the place. Great backyard for the kids and they even had some beach gear and boogie boards to use!

Everything was good. One exception was there were no towels, so we had to go purchase some. Would have been ok if we had advice before we came. Otherwise, the whole experience was very good.

It’s really a cool place for relaxing, with a lot of awesome beaches nearby. The kids loved it, as the owner organized gaming consoles as well! My only complaint was that the outdoor area was not as clean as expected, and the table tennis room was full of dust, so we couldn’t enjoy it.

Just Wonderful

We had 8 fabulous nights at Pebbles Cottage. What a wonderful place. We loved our time at Normanville and we especially loved our home base of Pebbles Cottage. Pebbles is fresh, clean, spacious and tastefully furnished with a lovely enclosed landscaped back yard. Set up for guests by people who know how to host – sometimes it the little things. Tissues, coffee pods and maker, bottled water in the fridge on arrival, good internet, Keyless front door (so our 11 year old could get in once she memorised the code). The beds were made up with good quality bed linen – not the cheapest polyester stuff you get in most holiday houses. The kitchen was fully fitted, spacious, modern and really functional. Loved the fact that it had proper grown up glass and ceramic kitchen ware instead of the usual plastic holiday house rubbish. Just the perfect place to really relax. We spent our days at the beach – mostly Carrakalinga which took exactly 5 minutes to drive too from our drive way, horse riding at the wonderful Normanville Trail rides (if you love horses, it’s a must do), popping up to McLaren Vale for the day to the farmers market and wineries, grabbing fab doughnuts (beliners) and “custard thingies” at the Normanville bakery and supplies from the unexpectedly good local supermarket. We look forward to returning to Normanville and definitely to Pebbles Cottage.

I leave in Adelaide and purchased Pebbles Cottage in 2014 after going down to Normanville on a regular basis. We love it so much we decided it was better to have our own place instead of always having to stay at others.

Why they chose this property

Pebbles Cottage is the perfect place for a family holiday. We have a young family so have set the place up for people like us.

It has all the things you need, without lots of clutter that little hands can break. There is also a fully enclosed backyard where kids can safely play.

When you want to head out, the main street is only 5 mins walk away and the beach is less than that by car.
