Casa Allegra, as the names suggests is a place of happiness and joy.
This beautiful five-bedroom house, right in the heart of Trentham, is the perfect escape for up to 10 people. In addition to the 2 living areas in the house, there is a large garden studio which provides an extra entertainment area with a billiard table and table tennis table. This can be used as a yoga space, meeting room or event space.

If your group is larger than 10 people, you can also rent Casa Andante which is right next door. Each of the houses has 5 bedrooms and sleep 10 people, so with both houses, you have available 10 bedrooms and can sleep up to 20 people. Perfect for a retreat or a small wedding!

Casa Allegra sits on almost 5000sqm of beautiful landscaped gardens. The expansive gardens and the views to the lake makes you feel as though you are away from it all, even though you are right in the heart of Trentham. It is an easy 5-minute stroll to the fabulous pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Casa Allegra is a light-filled, elegant yet relaxed and comfortable spacious home. Stunning antique furniture, light fittings, objects d'art and artwork supplied by well-known Melbourne based antique dealer, Miguel Meirelles, feature throughout the house.
Every room is a feast for the eyes, with beautiful and unique furnishings and decorative items.

A separate garden studio provides a large comfortable and beautiful space to enjoy billiards, table tennis, yoga or simply relaxing in front of the fire and enjoying the peaceful garden outlook. It is also suitable for small retreats, events and workshops.

The outlook and position of this magnificent home makes it a perfect property for all seasons. In Summer you can enjoy al fresco dining on the deck. With an elevated view over the large garden and the lake beyond, it is the perfect setting for long lunches or dinner parties. Or enjoy a picnic in the spacious gardens, croquet on the lawns, or find a quiet place to read a book. At night enjoy the starry skies sitting around the fire pit in the garden.

In winter, curl up in front of the fire in the cosy living room on comfy sofas or enjoy the large sunny garden studio with a billiard table, table tennis table and another fireplace with sofas. Choices of indoor entertainment include wifi, a HD flat-screen TV and Chrome Cast, a DVD player (range of DVD’s supplied), board games, books, magazines, a stereo with CD and Bluetooth. The house is really well heated with two wood fires, two split system units and heaters in each bedroom and bathroom so you will be cosy and warm during your stay. The large garden studio also has a wood fire and 2 split system heaters.

The hand made farm-house table with seating for 10 is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen. A BBQ is also provided on the deck. A chef can be arranged to provide catering at the house, although there are so many great places to eat in Trentham just minutes from the house. If both Casa Allegra and Casa Andante are rented together, seating in the dining room for up to 20 can be arranged.

The property has five stylishly appointed bedrooms. Each room can be configured with a King-sized bed or two long singles. Each bedroom has a distinctive colour scheme, with beautiful linen and upholstered bed heads. You will be kept nice and warm as each bed has electric blankets and gorgeously cosy bedding and each bedroom has a panel heater. Two bedrooms have en-suites. The remaining three bedrooms are serviced by a bathroom with a full-sized bath, shower and toilet. There is also an additional separate toilet.

Indulge in massages either in Trentham, or a massage therapist can be arranged to come to the house. Be pampered with spa treatments in Trentham. Feel the benefits of a yoga session with an expert teacher who can come and conduct yoga sessions in the garden studio.

All linen is supplied as well as tea, coffee, milk, oil, vinegar salt & pepper.

If possible, a late check out may be arranged.

Children are most welcome (as part of the maximum number of 10 guests)

The Wombat trail and the Domino trail start very close to the house. The Domino Trail is between Trentham and Lyonville. Enjoy lunch at the pub in Lyonville then get the courtesy bus home! For the serious walkers, there is an extensive network of walking trails throughout the Wombat State Forest.
