Fabulous property! Private beach access, meaning you're right on the pristine white sandy beach in minutes! Well insulated so even though there was a storm,it felt nice and cosy inside! Great place to unwind and relax and disconnect.
Thank you Matt. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - very restful and the view cannot be beaten. Not much WiFi or TV but we really did not need or want this. :)
Our second stay at this lovely location. Beautiful views, perfect location and lovely house. If you love the water this property is perfect. We relaxed, fished, surfed, kayaked, dived and cooked, could stay here permanently. Beautiful sunrise mornings, perfect for getting up early and enjoying the gorgeous days. Property owner has great communication and I would definitely recommend this stay. Thanks Matt, until our next stay.
The property was excellent for our needs, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a big dining area inside and two big meeting areas outside.
The setting was stunning with views across the Prosser to Maria Island.
Britt responded quickly to our messages and went out of her way to assist us.
Thank you.
A beautiful place to stay. On the beach, superb views and a good sunny deck. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, and a well equipped kitchen. Driftwood is a place to enjoy. We will be back!!
Matt was a great host and made everything easy.

Idyllic
This is the second time we've stayed here, which is recommendation enough!
An amazing property in a one in a million location. Well appointed, amazingly comfortable bed, fanatastic views and a beach you'll have pretty much to yourself.
We shared our stay this time with a couple of huntsman spiders, but even that wasn't enough to impact our 5 star rating ;-)

Fabulous!
3 couples thoroughly enjoyed Driftwood: gorgeous beach house where you can let go of time and schedules because of the view, the seemingly remote beach and the "kick off your shoes, feel the sand on your feet, the saltwater in your hair" location.
A privilege to stay.
A robust cooks kitchen and comfy beds for your well earned rest from city life.
Open plan sleeping arrangement is just like a camping tent site for grown ups. Privacy assured - sea breeze, ocean views abound.

Wow - what a location!!!
Bay of Fires is probably THE most beautiful stretch of coastline in the country; pristine and unspoilt, and pretty much devoid of people. Driftwood sits right on the waterfront, nestled in amongst about 10 other properties, all bar one of which are privately owned shacks.
The house itself has everything you need for a self catered holiday; the kitchen is really well equipped, there are plenty of beach towels and the layout of the house maximises the amazing view. The vista from the french doors in the master bedroom is just incredible.
We had a fantastic 3 night stay here, feeling totally secluded and relaxed. We left our SUP's on the beach the whole time and simply stepped off the property, onto the beach and into the water.
Absolutely magic.

the sound of the ocean is everywhere
... when you step onto this property. The friendly manager provides excellent directions, leading you right to the front door of this unusual house overlooking a southern section of the Bay of Fires beach. Inside, the house is beautifully appointed with quality furnishing and fittings, all you could need for a great self-catering family holiday. Views of the ocean are possible from most rooms. Unfortunately, for me, this is also a major problem - the house is 100% open plan with few walls. The three upstairs loft bedrooms and one bathroom are open to each other one one side as well as to the stairwell and the living/dining/kitchen spaces below. If this doesn't bother your family group, and you want absolute beachfront with life's luxuries, then this is the house for you.

We loved our stay at Driftwood Bay of Fires. The view and beach were outstanding. The house was lovely and serviceable and very well provisioned for a family. Exceptionally clean. It worked well for a family, the open bedrooms, might make it awkward for couples.
