Beach Retreat@Kiama BEACHFRONT with direct beach access

This lower level unit backs onto the popular Jones Beach Kiama Downs. Beach Retreat@Kiama offers comfortable, spacious accommodation for up to 6 people. The owners live on the upper level and are happy to provide guests with any assistance needed on their stay. Your privacy is assured at all other times.

*Note: The 2 bedroom listing refers to 2 separate sleeping areas. The first area being the queen bed in the separate bedroom. The second area being the bunk beds in the living area. The trundle bed can be used in either area.

A large main bedroom with queen bed. A bunk bed with a double lower bunk and single top bunk is located in the living area with an additional trundle bed for the sixth person if required.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, mini freezer, kettle and toaster and all your crockery, cutlery and glassware supplied are on hand.

Open plan and spacious living dining area with comfortable furnishings, HD TV and DVD player.

A barbecue and outdoor fire are provided for your lazy afternoons overlooking Jones Beach.

Bathroom facilities include a shower, toilet and hand basin. A warm outdoor shower is also included. Shared laundry facilities include a washing machine and dryer.

Linen and towels are provided.

With Jones Beach on your doorstep, an IGA supermarket and bottle shop a short walk away, you will be able to park the car and toss the keys to one side for the duration of your stay.

Beach Retreat is within walking distance to Minnamurra River which is a popular location for fishing, swimming, standup paddle boarding and kayaking.

You can enjoy spectacular walks around our amazing walking tracks to the surrounding headlands.

Walk to the "Boneyard" a popular swimming area for families. plenty of shady tress and crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling. The "Boneyard" has numerous rock platforms with rock pools where you can view an abundance of marine life. An excellent fishing location.

3 kilometers to Kiama centre. Drive, walk or cycle the coastal cycle track.

a piece of paradise

Such a lovely spot, and very comfortable accommodation. The view is amazing, and there is nothing more relaxing than sitting out watching the whales and the birds. The place has everything you need and as well as being close to the beach is also a short walk from the shops. A wonderful place to stay all round!

What a beautiful place, right next to the beach (just a short walk through the bush from the back lawn). The house was very clean and comfortable (the photos dont do it justice) and Rob and Leanne were the perfect hosts. Thanks for having us- what a magic spot!

Lovely beach getaway

Beautiful property with a stunning beach view. There is access to the beach from the backyard. Very clean, simple with all kitchen appliances, Linen & towels provided. During our stay, the lovely owner came down to say hello and to make sure we lacked nothing. We had a wonderful and relaxed stay with complete privacy. We forgot one of our belonging behind which was kindly returned to us by the owner. Thank you Chelsea and Ron, we will definitely come and stay again in the future.

Kiama Downs

Brilliant views via fully retractable glass doors with the bonus of seeing whales.2 beautiful dogs who interacted when they wanted 😂. Perfectly adequate accommodation with everything you need located under the owner’s living space. Shared laundry facilities and back yard. Ron and Leanne tried to be as unobtrusive as possible but obviously noise is going to be an issue at times. At the same time you knew they were available if you had any problems. On street parking. Steep access down the side of the house to access the apartment. Also steep access to get to and from the beach but definitely worth the effort. Would benefit from a small kitchen table and chairs rather than bar table and chairs. It is one of those places that grows on you the longer you stay. We stayed 6 nights and were very sad to leave. Would definitely consider staying again if we returned to Kiama in the future. Great location for easy access to Kiama, Berry, Gerringong and Wollongong.
