Our home is situated just a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Highway and we are an ideal stopover if you are on a road trip or just looking for a quiet space to relax close to the beach and cafes. The one bedroom self contained studio apartment is situated underneath the quiet end of our home and has a private entrance through the surrounding gardens . The space contains a bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and washing machine, a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, slow cooker, sandwich toaster , sink , a lounge area with TV and recliner chairs , and comfy twin king single beds which can be pushed together if required. Please request on booking. Private outdoor patio with barbeque for guest use. There is an outdoor dining area with a barbeque. The home is surrounded by shady tropical gardens and trees attracting abundant local bird life. Off street parking is available at the front of the house and the apartment is reached by a sloping stepped path down to the rear of the property. It is not suitable for anyone with poor mobility (see photos) and is lit by sensor lights at night. There are two miniature schnauzers, George and Hector who also live here and share the large secure garden. The property is only a 10 minute walk to miles of unspolit beaches and there is also a pharmacy, two great cafes and a tavern nearby serving delicious food and beverages.

Great location - amzing beaches within walking distance, great coffee shop and bery quiet location. Loved the area, the apartment and the kangaroos that observed us on our walk down the street

The apartment is located at the back of the house so it was really quiet, had it's own garden which faced west so we could watch the sunset. The apartment was a good size so we could spread out. Comfortable beds, super clean plus a washing machine. Off street parking which was a real bonus.

Room was nice, quite thoughtful and nice to eat outside - an umbrella would also have been good as it was very hot. My husband didn't like the twin beds though I thought this was OK, unsure if the ad said this (may have). Not very close to anything unless you drive.

Originally from London, I have lived in Australia for forty years having arrived for a working holiday in 1982. I met my husband Peter ( a Cornishman) in Sydney and we have travelled extensively both by ourselves and with our two children.
We recently moved to Valla Beach after spending many years in Alice Springs and are enjoying being closer to our adult children and the ocean.
I am an avid painter and sewer and run an online quilting shop selling predominately indigenous fabrics out of which I make many home decor items. We also have a large garden and spend a lot of time enjoying this with our two dogs Hector and George.
We both work from home and look forward to sharing it with you.
Why they chose this property
Valla Beach is unspolit and quiet with mainly retirees living here. It is a popular holiday destination and an ideal short stay for travellers between Sydney and Brisbane.
There is safe swimming in Deep Creek ,a ten minute walk from the property, and also a surf beach.
There are two excellent cafes nearby as well as a pharmacy and tavern.
What makes this property unique
Our studio is private and comfortable, cool in summer and warm in winter. The space overlooks our garden and you can hear the crash of the surf when it is high tide. Valla Beach is a safe and friendly community with low rise development and empty stretches of sandy beaches. Only a short drive on and off the Pacific Highway, this is an ideal stopover to explore the area.
