This apartment was very smartly laid out, and met the needs of our family of 4 well. The host and his family were most welcoming and hospitable. Great communication from beginning to end of our stay. Impressively, the water is heated by the solar panels on the rooftop. And the location is very convenient—central to the main square, beach, shopping area and the port—yet removed from the hustle and bustle (with stores and restaurants open until midnight in the summer).

We got directions from the owners brother in his jewelry shop on the way and then at the house there was someone waiting for us to give us the key. It was very clean and looked like the pictures. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. They gave us a restaurant tip and were willing to store our luggage for us after check out so we didn't have to carry it around for an hour waiting for our Ferry.Staying at Gatis put us close to everything in Naxos town. We walked everywhere and had no trouble getting around. One thing to know when you get there, if you're walking from the port, which is only a 10-14 min walk, be prepared to go uphill on the rough cobbled streets and sidewalks.We had a fantastic time and highly recommend staying here!
